We stayed for one night to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. Although we arrived very early, the staff went out of their way to prepare our room quickly — and even upgraded us for the occasion, which was such a lovely surprise! The suite was spacious with a beautiful sea view, and the rooftop pool was relaxing with views of Tel Aviv. On Saturday, they even handed out popsicles by the pool — such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was great, especially for a Saturday, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. They also allowed us a late checkout, which we really appreciated. Thank you to the hotel team, and especially to Gal at the front desk, for making our stay so special!

I had a very short stay, but everyone was extremely helpful and the location was perfect. I truly enjoyed my view from the balcony and ability to walk to the pier, the beach and some delicious places to eat. All of the special touches really made a difference in my stay: the warm welcome with a light refreshing drink after a long plane ride, my favorite Leonidas chocolates and fresh fruit in my room was fantastic. I loved the robes, the bathroom and the bedding - which made me feel very comfortable. The staff was very understanding and made sure I was able to find my way to all of my destinations via taxi or walking.

Loved everything. Wished the drinks at the bar were not as expensive.

I’ve always liked this hotel for its position on the beach, right next to the Hilton Beach which is I think the best beach in Tel Aviv, and right opposite the Gordon pool which is superb for training. This time I stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which have been given a real makeover and much more luxurious. One cannot stay at this hotel and not mention the breakfast! It is in their restaurant overlooking the beach, ranks as the top two or three breakfast hotel I’ve ever stayed at anywhere in the world

We had a wonderful stay: we loved everything from prime location right on the beach, the beauty of views (room with balcony facing the sea, on the 13th floor), the kindness and professionalism of every employee, the fabulous pool on the roof on the 15th floor with amazing panoramic views, Daniel the swimming pool guard who kindly and graciously took excellent photos of my family, and last but not least the wonderful breakfast on the Carlton special building across the little road on the beach, giving directly on Marina - the best views …

I was looking for a place to unwind with friends, have some fun, and take a break from everyday life. We were three friends, and I was a bit worried that one of us would end up on an uncomfortable couch bed—but to my surprise, all the mattresses were equally comfortable. The hotel gave us exactly what we needed—and more. The coffee was spot-on, the service was exceptional, and breakfast was just right. Lounging by the pool during the day was the perfect way to relax.

Being a five stars hotel and yet feeling like family is a great value which the Carlton holds. The stuff make you feel home with zero ego issues and self importance. The view is a killer. The shore so close to the hotel is just magnificent and the breakfast was perfect. The price is a bit crazy but there are things in life that can not be measured in money. I felt like I can ask for anything. Maybe next time :)

We should have stayed for more

Personal, quick and kindest attention, including with our special needs, justifies the five stars on its own. Right by the water, most of the hotel facilities have amazing sea views - great for us sea lovers. Fitness room was well-equipped, with natural light, great after jogging by the beach promenade. Lobby facing the water was fun to sit in for a drink in the hot hours. Breakfast room is unique - food and location. Felt like we were in a sea resort at times, right in the middle of bustling Tel Aviv.

Like in most Tel Aviv, the Israeli city never sleeps - parking could sometimes require patience.

Loved the surroundings,on the sea. Wonderful to wake up to and finish the day with the sunset. Breakfast and view was wonderful. Was alone but felt just fine.

Ideally a larger pool area, access to food for longer. Nicer entrance, patio bit upgraded. One or two of the staff could have had a bit better interaction with visitors. Overall though I was very comfortable and well treated. The furniture in room could be improved. Plus bed and linen.

The view from our room as well as the whole rooftop area with pool, jacuzzi and bar are absolutely stunning. The location of the hotel is perfect. The room was very clean, cozy and big enough. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Don’t skip breakfast by the beach. The variety is amazing. PS: thank you to the hotel for the little birthday surprise!

Parking is a bit pricey. I would recommend the parking service from the hotel (200 NIS per day) which is still cheaper than public parking (320 NIS per day).

Our experience at the Carlton Hotel was outstanding. The highlight was the rooftop pool offering breathtaking views of the sea—a truly unique spot to unwind. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, the breakfast selection was exceptional, and the staff were attentive and professional throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning.
