Everything was great! Ida was the absolute best host anyone could ever ask for - her and the family were so kind, polite and ready to assist with whatever might be needed. They made us feel so welcome and right at home for our entire stay. The food was really really good, the room was clean and comfy and there were plenty of activities in the area, we especially enjoyed snorkeling around Menjangan and the biorock at Pemuteran. Walking around in the village was very enjoyable and everyone greeted us with a smile. I highly recommend staying at Maha Nusa with Ida the amazing superhost!

I stayed here for my final two nights of a jam-packed backpacking trip, and it was the most wonderful and luxurious way to end my whirlwind trip. I highly recommend it. Ida and Suta are wonderful hosts, I was a solo traveller and they made a lot of time to talk to me about my life and travels, and help me think of things to do in Bali. Everything you need is at the hotel, too. I enjoyed relaxing here so much that I actually barely left the property, apart from going on a national park trekking tour that Ida was able to organise for me on short notice. The facilities are incredibly well kept and beautiful, the onsite massage therapist was a luxury I never knew I needed, and my trekking tour was great. Every meal was absolutely delicious, and was able to be modified to be vegetarian which I really appreciated. I was very sad to leave. Next time I will bring my mum with me, she'd love it too.

A wonderful stay! After a long drive from Ubud we were warmly welcomed by our hosts. They explained to us all the activity options that they offered and would set up. We opted for a day of snorkeling, which included 2 snorkeling sites, mask, snorkel and fins, lunch and a walk on the island. It was a lovely experience. Our cabin was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the AC greatly appreciated! The attached private bathroom is partially outside, also very clean with soap, shampoo and towels provided. There were several options for the included breakfast which was delicious! The omelette was the best one we’ve had so far! We highly recommend Maha Nusa Menjangan and would definitely stay here again.

Everything. You'll feel at home here. Ida and her husband Suda are extremely caring and sweet people. We really enjoyed our 3-night stay. The bungalow is spacious, the mattress is comfortable, and it's quiet at night (though you might hear roosters occasionally, which is quite common in Bali). Breakfast is simple but delicious—you can choose between pancakes or eggs (scrambled or as an omelette), along with fresh fruit. They organised a snorkelling tour for us, which we loved! Suda also drove us to Amed, so we didn't even have to look for a driver. If you're planning to go to Banjuwedang, I highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay. The setting with the various bungalows in a traditional style, fountains and water beautiful . The room was beautiful, comfortable bed, nicely decorated bathroom, very good WiFi. The hosts were incredibly nice and offer also food (Nasi goreng and vegetable noodles were really nice and inexpensive even for Bali standards) and various activities in the area, especially towards Menjangsn Island. We will certainly go back in our next trip. We also include the photos of White Sand Besch which we loved and wheee we had excellent fried Maki Maki.

We made a plan here because of the activity like snorkeling (because this place is quite famous area for snorkeling and I heard that this accommodation provides reasonable price for any activity) but unfortunately my husband got bali belly just before we come this place so we couldn’t do anything while we stayed. The owner and all the staff cared and worried us everyday and they made porridge for him as well. I had breakfast and dinner here everyday and all foods were delicious, they were always smile, beautiful atmosphere too.

Only one thing I didn’t like was the location. The accommodation was bit inside so it’s bit hard to go any place if you don’t have motorbike but they do rental services though.

The room ( with ac) and bathroom are new and clean. The host and her husband great you at any time of the day with bright smiles. They serve good breakfast and you do not need to hunt for food for diner ie lunch : they serve at a competitive price noddle soup with chicken and fried rice with eggs. The host organized for us bird tour with a knowledgeable guide from the west Bali national park. Ida and Suta know and love their region. You can follow their recommendations with blind eyes.

Great little place, very clean and comfortable. Suta is a lovely host, excellent English, can’t do enough for you! He arranged snorkelling and trekking trips at good prices, can arrange transport to anywhere for good rates and can explain what there is to do and see along the way. We enjoyed walking along the village roads that parallel the main road, very friendly people and interesting to see all that is going on. White Sandy Beach is good for a swim but is more like a 35 minute walk then 15!

The host family and staff are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet. Help booking excursions. Cheap and tasty home cooked meals on demand. I had to leave early due to work commitments and they offered me free massage and packed lunches in a bid to convince me to stay. Cool accomodation.

Slow WiFi but that is due to the area not suitable for remote working. If you want a lovely peaceful stay with charming hosts don't hesitate to stay here.

My friend and I had an amazing stay at Maha Nusa last weekend. Ida and her family are just wonderful and very kind. Ida is an organisational talent and very caring about her guests. It was by far the best stay we had in Bali ☺️. The bungalows are beautifully build and the place is quite and neat. There were also two very sweet cats who liked to accompany us. The place is a bit off the main road but if you don't have any transport yourself (like us), Ida and her family are ready to bring you everywhere you like in the surroundings. They also offer food for their guests at every moment of the day which was very tasty! We are both vegan/vegetarian which was no problem, we had some very tasty fried rice and noodles. Especially recommend their fried banana! We hope we can come back one day..
