Noel the manager was very honest and helpful in telling us what he knew about the area and how to prepare for and obtain what we were looking for. We came at an odd time due to constraints we were under and he was very willing to accommodate our needs. Off season is the time to come as there were no long lines or over crowding. The location was right in the center of activities placing us in walking distance of down town.

When looking on-line about “Chincoteague” we found scant information about our particular “off season schedule” of activities making it hard to plan ahead of time. This was not Atlantic’s fault. There was women talking loudly after 10::pm till about midnight keeping my wife from sleeping. The bar next door needs to be told to respect quiet hours. There were other rooms avaliable with out noise but we were settled in and I did not want to make a seen. Running the air conditioner helped drop out the women’s loud talking.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This place was so clean and close to everything! The staff was amazing!!! Noel was truly so kind! Noel thank you for the best family vacation ever a place were felt comfortable and safe!!!The rooms are so nice and clean! The air conditioner perfect! Perfect place to stay! Very safe and family oriented! They have a nice pool upfront and a great breakfast! Everything is so nice and clean you won’t regret! Such a great beach vibe the rooms had! THE ROOMS ARE SO SO SO CLEAN AND NICE!!!!!!

The room was spacious, clean, and well kept. It included a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of toiletries. The lodging is conveniently located on the road you enter Chincoteague on, which also leads to Assateague Island. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, and was more than adequate for the type of lodging. Parking is free. There was a nice pool, but didn't use it. The rate for Labor Day week (but after Labor Day) was incredibly low but apparently it is very expensive in the summer, even when it's not pony week. This would definitely be my go-to place in Chincoteague in the off-season.

The lighting consisted of two lamps, which was inadequate. The AC came on for about a few minutes every half hour and did not adequately cool the room. Be aware that the beach at Assateague Island has no facilities except porta-potties.

I loved the location, and the value of the stay. The pool was great. It was nice a deep unlike some other pools. In walking distance to many good restaurants and a dollar store in case you forgot anything. I didn’t try the breakfast but it looks like they had a waffle maker. A great donut place is right across the street.

I would say overall it was clean, but they need to pay closer attention to detail. There was dust on the wall, top of the tv furniture, and dirty light switches. Some of the furniture had white stains on it and look like they could’ve been cleaned off (I just didn’t use this piece of furniture) the floors also really needed a sweep/ vacuum and a swifter taken to them.

I’m pretty easy going. It had two beds and a hot shower. It appeared clean. The ice machine worked extremely well and gave nice, shaved ice. Many hotels had a 2-3 day minimum since it was the week of the pony transport and auction. So the single night as we were just passing through was convenient.

The ac in our room periodically started making noise. Also, we along with many are early risers. Breakfast at 8 is a bit inconvenient. I prefer 6:30-7:00….nothing to do with the property, but I was a tad disappointed we didn’t get to see free roaming horses. I read what was happening with the beach walk/swim but didn’t realize exactly what was happening. That’s the reason we diverted our trip to go there. It was a very expensive miscalculation. Advice to anyone going during that week, understand FULLY what happens so you’re not booking tours etc where you won’t see any horses

Love the country-style theme. Enjoyed the continental breakfast as well as the outdoor pool. The free room upgrade was great! The friendly, solicitous staff provided excellent guest service. The calls we made to the front desk were met with courteous rapid responses of excellence. The hotel location was so strategic, it made all the places we went to see very accessible, just a short drive away.

Other than hard-boiled eggs and fruit for breakfast, no other options were available to people on a low-carb diet like us. But then again it is understandable, being a continental breakfast and was included in the daily rate.

Nice breakfast including waffle makers, hard boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit. Great location near the Island Creamery ice cream shop and on the way to Assateague Island for beaches and ponies. Ample parking. Pool area was a good place to sit and enjoy a coffee or ice cream.

The people in the room next to us smoked outside their room and the smell from that came into our room through the air conditioning unit. It might be good to put smoking rooms/smokers together if possible.

The staff were excellent! Very attentive, super helpful. Location was a few miles from the beach which I didn't mind at all. The motel was close to restaurants and all sorts of shops!

The beds were full size but felt a bit smaller than that. Needed more light in the room and tv didn't work. Heard the same from others. The room could have been a bit cleaner. Residue on the sinks from washing hands and brushing teeth, door to bathroom only opened about about 12 inches cuz it caught on the floor. Lots of debris under and around beds, fridge, and sink area. They didn't wash anything except for the sheets and towels. Watched for 3 days of them cleaning and nothing more.

Location was great, staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms could use some minimal work and upgrading. Felt very safe and comfortable. Beds were good, room was spacious for two people. Could of been cleaner, but was a great value for the price. There was an ant problem, they where the little ones but found many throughout the room. All in all would stay there again

We rejected the first room we were given for multiple deficiencies. The second room we took was a great improvement. The beds were comfortable. There were minimal but adequate amenities if we had needed those. The room was clean. We were centrally located to the events for which we were visiting.

The a/c unit was loud. The television system seemed to be overloaded so we were unable to view any programming on Live TV, and did not wish to log in to a system away from home. The attendant at the front desk was less than friendly at check in or when we reported the issues with the first room, whereas the maintenance man could not have been more friendly or accommodating.
