From booking in to departure it was a great experience and we will definitely come here again. The room smelt amazing on entry, lovely and fresh, comfortable beds, the towels were fabulous and everything clean and we were comfortable for our stay. Our host Leizl, was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Across the road are some great eateries, we chose the fish and chips and so glad we did! Very friendly service and the best feed ever! Fresh and delicious even giving us lemons for free. Bonus! We will be back in Bundaberg as Gladstone doesn’t have the facilities for Pet Scans and will stay at this location again for sure. We give our experience a 11/10. Cheers. Sancha and John

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like ….

Very comfortable bed. Comfortable lounge to sit in. Decent TV. Option for breakfast if wanted. Close to coffee shop for early morning coffee. The hosts were very obliging and helpful. We had a late arrival and they were there to greet us. How nice is that.

Would have really loved a ceiling fan in the room. Running the air conditioning is not the best solution for sleeping for many reasons. One thing we miss in a lot of motels, including this one, are hand-held shower roses. They really make a stay anywhere better in our opinion.

The staff were very friendly

Lounge not big enough for two people we had 4 people (2 elderly people), no table inside to entertain at , we used the round table from outside, the people at 14 parked in our bay 15 and stayed, so family room became squishy room for 4 and left the other car at a business. Lucky my son pulled out of the weekend away as there was no room for a fifth which was the original number.

Location was great although this meant that there was some road noise and sirens - I was in a room closest to the road but I guess someone had to be lol. the free ice was bonus and much appreciated.

Parking space very short and I was a little worried that someone may hit my front end - they didn't so that was good

I booked a room with a double bed and a single bed through an on line booking agency but , when we arrived , the room only had a double bed . Had this experience when we travelled through the USA, my mate's cuddly, but I think our wives would object!! Mine host was most helpful, removed a small lounge suite and quickly substituted a single bed , happy customers all round . Room comfortable, very clean and bathroom all good . Very adequate all round , you will be happy staying here .

Nice easy check in and friendly staff. Very easy to talk to about any issues I had. It was a great stay.

The bin was only emptied by me till the fourth day. The 2nd day I put the do not disturb sign on the door. Had to get extra bin liners. I think they must do the bins every second day.

The room was clean and tidy and very pleasant. It had a very homey feel to it.

Travelling with a toddler who is going through the fussy stage it would have been good if there was a toaster provided for. Also, on a general note the room information folder was outdated and needed to be updated. Other than that nothing else to comment about as was a great room.

The location was very central. The room was clean and comfortable. We ordered breakfast, which was reasonably priced, arrived on time and cooked well. The pool was pleasant and just right for a hot day.

I enjoy reading in bed so a bedside lamp would have been good, as the overhead lights woke my husband if I tried to read.

Owner/manager very accommodating. We had a wedding to attend and were allowed to check in early to prepare which was fantastic. Room was clean, cold air conditioning, hot shower, complimentary tea and coffee and best of all beds very comfy, slept very well. Great location and definitely would stay there again.

Staff where nice place was clean

Didn’t like people being very loud outside the cabin at 10.30 Saturday night. Was not happy they took money out of my account before I got there. We had cash to pay for rooms. Never had anywhere else do that. They always wait till we are there to pay
