The location was perfect. The room was clean and had the perfect space for our needs. Lots off trees so there is shade and the temperature is always nice. The ice machine is within walking distance from our room. Also has chairs and tables outside that are nice for a coffee in the morning or afternoon to relax.
Parking is so compact for lager cars but its understandable. Also because its location is rite before a stoplight it makes it gard to get in and out at time. We have been here before and this time we were told that breakfast is done by filling out a paper. Before it was walking and get your food. Kinda sucks because if there is no one there to take it then how do i get my food

I loved everything overall it was an amazing experience The staff was nice the rooms were clean our breakfast was delivered on time The staff was very helpful and helping us find things to do in the area overall I give this place a 15 out of 10 extremely satisfied and I would recommend this location to anyone friends and family and if you don't know ask a staff about Buster's BBQ and is absolutely amazing stay away from the hot sauce
Overall I can't find anything that I didn't like about the hotel The only thing that I can say is I wish the hotel had more charging stations for other EV vehicles rather than only Tesla's a lot of the newer EV vehicles come with their own charger inside of the car we just need a location to plug in the charger

We loved the accessibility of downtown Calistoga, easy access to ice machine and getting to the room. The breakfast included was a nice perk. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. It was extremely close to Castillo di Amorosa, the complementary shuttle service made it easy to get there and back. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
We would have loved to have access to microwave and refrigerator in our room to keep leftovers in from dining out. The lack of curtains in the bathroom window made me feel a little uneasy but we were able to come up with a solution, even though we were on the 2nd floor.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 18th anniversary at the property. It was quiet and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered a continental breakfast, and passes to visit various wineries in Calistoga. The lobby had a Coffee/Tea station which I think was a plus. In addition, the parking was close and we had access to a side door that led directly to the room we stayed in. I would definitely recommend the Bergson property to friends and family members.
No complaints here. I asked for liquid hand soap and they brought up a L'Occitane hand soap bottle right away.

The room was private and clean, but I didn't realize it did not have a mini fridge (that would have been nice to have). The location was great, it was close to downtown but not in the thick of it. The breakfast was the highlight, it was hands down the best and most homey/comforting continental breakfast ever. I especially loved the strawberries and cream over night oats!!!
There were a few bugs that were unavoidable (due to the high ceilings) and the shutter blinds allowed in too much light for my liking. Again it would have been nice to have a mini fridge available.

First, the entry concrete patio leading to the reception desk was welcoming, soothing and beautiful with its gentle water fountain and small round tables with chairs. The reception desk and room were beautiful -- and of course we appreciated the yummy homemade cookie they had bagged up for each guest. BREAKFAST which they call their "Small Offering" was a cold breakfast, but very quality muffins, yogurt parfait, and homemade coffee cake.
I didn't realize the room was so small, but its diagonal design still fit the large wall TV, 2 comfortable, classy easy chairs and queen bed, along with good sized bathroom area.

We have stayed at The Bergson many times and have always enjoyed our stay. We go in the winter and the rooms are cozy. Room 207 is very large and comfortable. We like that it is walking distance to town for restaurants and shopping. We do appreciate that a light breakfast is provided. Really a good value in the area!
There were some changes we noticed during this stay. The breakfast selections were more limited than previous visits. Still nice to have, though. Sad the gas fireplaces were replaced with non-heating electric fireplaces. Housekeeping was to clean rooms every other day. They did not. Had to alert reception. Not a huge thing but showed a slip in attention to service.

The property is in a great location, just right around the corner from the downtown area. It is also walkable to the downtown area too so if you want to do a wine tasting within the town, you could walk there rather than drive. The Bergson also provides free tickets to a shuttle that will even take you downtown if you would rather not walk or to some of the wineries in Calistoga. It is quaint, cute and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. The beds were super comfy and soft and up to my personal standards. (I myself like softer beds rather than firmer beds.) Overall, great stay and would return again when and if we come back to Calistoga! :)
The only that was a little disappointing was that the breakfast that the Bergson provided in the morning was a little small. Basically just coffee, pastries and yogurt. I wish they had a little more options because most of the time we had to go into town for breakfast because it just was not enough food.

Location and amenities
Lack of hot water and when I finally did get hot water, I had to run the spigot for at least 8-10 minutes. Seemed inappropriate for a drought zone. Two of the 5 mornings I was unable to shower because there was no hot water and there was no one at the desk to ask for help. I only ran the water as long as I did because when I did connect with a lovely woman from housekeeping, she ran the shower AGAIN for longer than I had and that was when the hot water arrived but too late for me that day because I was due in Napa for a class.

it's a lovely spot and easy walk to the village. It's right on the busy road so unless you're recessed back in the property, it's noisy. The breakfast was a little less than I had anticipated but there are so many nice places to each within a 7 minute walk that it doesn't matter. Just one small free bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch. Returning to the lobby in the pouring rain to buy a tiny bottle before having the chance to shop was a little silly but small detail.
