The room and lobby areas were clean, loved the old world charm. The staff were professional and courteous, willing to assist. Located in Downtown McKinney, lots to see and do. Rick's Chop/Steak House is accessible from the interior of the hotel, room service was also available.The entire stay was reasonably priced.

Parking can be a chore on the weekends. They do have the option of valet parking. Little TLC in some minor areas to the interior.

What a lovely hotel in a very quaint town. Excellent location and facilities. I was travelling solo for work but would love to come back with my wife. Perfect for a romantic getaway! I LOVED all the art and the books. Very nice!

My only complaint (not the fault of the hotel) was there was an art event the next day on the square and I was woken up by street sweepers at 5 am...ugh.

First and foremost, it's a great value. The location cannot be beat for walking access to downtown McKinney, with its great restaurants and shops, so park the car in one of the nearby public lots and forget about it. The staff is spectacular in every way, the hotel has tremendous charm by nature of its age and the high, embossed tin ceilings, and lastly, the AC works very well. 😋

Our double queen room could be improved by having two chairs instead of only one, plus a little more table space.

Location was excellent and the restaurant was fantastic. The wait and bar staff were very, very good. The front desk staff was cheerful. The room was spacious, the decor was lovely and there was a wonderful full length mirror. The artwork at the hotel was beautifully curated and in keeping with the style of this lovely building. You could walk to hundreds of shops from the hotel.

The front desk staff could have been much more helpful at check in by providing dining options and making it clear that room service was the only on site breakfast option. The bed was very hard and the pillows were lumpy. The adjoining room to ours had the light on all night and the room on the other side had the TV on loud volume late at night and then early in the morning.

The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding, courteous, efficient, effective, and went beyond what we generally anticipate from hotel and restaurant staff.

A soda and snack machine combination on the property would enhance the ability to easily retrieve food and beverages.

I was traveling for work & had 4 hours to waste & the weather was terrible. They were awesome. They let me go blow dry my things that were rained on & was allowed camp out in the lobby. Plus the hotel is adorable! We will definitely return!

They only served breakfast as room service so went elsewhere. Did provide free coffee in reception though

A bit noisy at night, but i had a word and i guess someone mended the AC.

Excellent elegant location. Room was large, beautiful and clean. The staff was super friendly. The 5 star restaurant is attached to the hotel. We order room service for breakfast and it was outstanding. Don't tell anyone but there is a little DIV bar in the back which we loved.

Our room didn't have much of a view but we really didn't need one, shopping was just around the corner. You can select a room with a view for a little more money. I got lost once because there are two second floors, but I enjoyed the beautiful art that is everywhere and I found the "secret library".

I loved the coffee in the lobby. The staff was very welcoming and kind.

The thermostat was behind the TV and hard to reach and control. A simple fix to move the TV a bit or smaller dresser / stand for the TV.

The old style look and feel. The service was excellent. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very enjoyable.

No refrigerators in the room we were in. No coffee makers.
