The place was breath taken. The pod was even better than expected, you have all sorts of crockery to cook and was spotless. The walk to Pooley bridge worth it. And the nature outstanding The reception has a little shop with some nice locally produced products. They left a little fresh milk bottle, coffee and tea and biscuits upon arrival, very nice extra! The glamping area is beautiful looked after.

They only provide with one toilet roll, I think one more could’ve been useful as we stayed 4 nights.

The cottage was very spacious and beautifully furnished. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, and the added touches for our 2 dogs was just lovely. We felt very welcome and at home.

The only negative we had was even though we adhered to the rules of keeping our dogs on a lead in the grounds, some people obviously didn't and because they were allowed to run loose outside the cottage it made our dogs bark.

Lovely and new feel to the apartment, nice and cosy to return to after a day out and about. Helpfully had a pint of milk and some biscuits to start me off on arrival. Short walk into pooley bridge.

It was a shame the check out was so early particularly when the expectation is to remove bedding and sort the bins out, I thought given the price this would have been included as part of the housekeeping. It felt rushed trying to get packed up.

The views, the quietness, the path into Pooley Bridge, the attentive lambs under the oak tree. The apartment feel whilst in a bigger, very well kept estate.

No food available on site was a little disappointing but understandable. Not enough loo roll : - 0 The mirror in the bedroom being right behing the (ever slamming,) chained firedoor.

We were self catering but took the scenic little walk to Pooley Bridge one morning. The accommodation in the cottages is first class and spacious. The location is perfect - pretty, great scenery all around and close to Lake Ullswater and all of the amenities and conveniences of the lovely Pooley Bridge village.

Almost perfect in every way. One comment by the ladies was that they would have appreciated a chair in the bedroom for when applying make up etc.

Location was lovely, site facilities good.

Kitchen floor was sticky in places, crockery was not properly clean, and silly things like bugs being squished on walls but then not cleaned up, which was a bit grim. No doggy pack as described in the welcome pack. Plug didn't work in bathroom sink and no salt for the dishwasher. Had to strip all the beds ourselves and empty all the bins - not what I'd expect for the price paid.

excellent location, beautiful surroundings and gorgeous clean accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. close to Pooley bridge and Ullswater steamer. saturday night takeaway truck was a great addition as was the warm pasries available at the shop in the morning and the mansion bar. lots of parking available. easy to find. nice and quiet and relaxing.

The position of site, view from edge of site. Walking distance to lake and local area to walk. Clean and practical cottage. Lovely shower. Plenty of space to relax inside

No outside area straight from cottage in which we stayed to sit and admire the view. Television not easy to find channels, had about 4 BBC1's then BBC 2 etc. Found it strange to have top part of cottage and a couple who lived in the bottom part of cottage with their 2 dogs. Should have private parking signs up for the spaces for people who live on site

it had the wow factor as soon as we walked in. very cosy, comfortable and clean. first time glamping and will definitely do it again. Mansion’s bar was great with friendly staff and other customers. love how dog friendly the whole place is

S-Pod was spotless and has everything you need. Location was great, with a nice little walk to Pooley Bridge, where there are a couple of bars/cafes on the river, and a steamboat across the lake. There is a bar open until 7:30 Weds to Sun, and a park and field for the kids.

Nothing! Would definitely return.
