The hotel is located on the edge of the old town, which can be easily reached on foot in around 500 meters. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was relatively plentiful by French standards. The room could be darkened relatively well. Somehow I got caught up in the last evening of the Jazz Sous Les Pommier festival. But because the music performances ended around 11pm, the night was quiet.

The room faced the inner courtyard and not the street. As with most French buildings, the soundproofing between the rooms was not good. While the bathroom window had single glazing, the room at least had double glazing. So the muffled noise from the bakery about 30 meters away was almost inaudible.

This was a classy hotel. Very posh. As a cyclist in lycra I felt underdressed but despite this we were made very welcome. The room was in a nice outbuilding. Nice bathroom, tea making facilities, bed etc. Breakfast was plentiful. Bicycles locked up outside in an open garage but within the premises courtyard.

Air conditioning as the fan supplied did not really cool us down.

Simply furnished but perfectly adequate. Hotel DID serve breakfast and had parking (despite what it said on the website!). Madame directed us to a very nice nearby restaurant as the hotel does not serve food.

We had a one night stopover in this delightful hotel,the room was very comfortable,clean, and they let us store our bikes in the garage ,coutances is a great place I really hope we return to this hotel soon,thank you

Great location, a short walk from historic sights and restaurants. Ideal for an overnight stay. The room was clean and the reception was friendly.

It was quite basic, no kettle or hairdryer, but the price was very reasonable.

Very friendly English-speaking proprietor, big comfortable bed, easy walk to city centre, cathedral, botanical gardens etc. Good breakfast. Spotlessly clean and easy parking.

We arrived in a rain storm and owner/manager was friendly and helpful, providing good storage for cycles, including e-bike. Room was clean and comfortable. Owner provided great recommendation for local pizza restaurant and lent us an umbrella to get there! Good Breakfast.

Location was on a through road, but was easy to find.

Excellent location for seeing the town on foot. Host was helpful and informative providing a map and directing us to a few places to visit the n foot. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

The lovely staff. Spacious room, comfortable bed and clean. Simple but great breakfast for 8 euro. Free parking. Perfect stop off location for us.
