Convenient location near the fort and the river and the old town centre. 10 min walk to bus or train station. Quiet, spacious, good WiFi. Bathrooms clean and good shower. Excellent communication for check in. All keypad entry. Big kitchen table and outdoor area. Many local cafes nearby as just outside the tourist streets. Close to beach ferry. Good air conditioning in both rooms, plenty of wardrobe space and shelves. Loved staying here.

The beds could be softer. The kitchen needs a bigger frypan, and a kitchen sink plug to wash the dishes.

It was so light and airy, clean and fresh. Loved the wee coffee machine and it was easy access. Also nice and quiet. A great location with short walks to every thing.

We found the bed too hard for us but the wonderful host quickly remedied this by fitting a mattress topper, which made all the difference. They acted on it straight away thankfully, for our tired walking hips.

The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen very clean comfortable Access was easy and secure . I had the family studio which had an extra bedroom and bathroom ..all very nice . The location was quiet and maybe 10 mins walk from town centre and bus /train station

Great location close to town. Good communication with the hosts so checkin was seamless. The room was fresh, clean and nicely decorated. Loved the little patio for the room - we could have our coffee out there. The hosts also let us know there was a shared kitchenette downstairs, so it was really handy.

The communicated instructions to access the room was as described and room was also as pictured. Quiet location between center Ave and beach. Coffee maker and air conditioner worked good.

The door handle came apart, but the owner was on it immediately while we went to dinner. Also left me a few more coffee pods and a treat with opoligies about handle. There is a small TV but no remote. It's okay as we are not big watchers. No room service on 2nd day. Girlfriend complained that only one small mirror... and one 2.5 meters high on wall. Lol Girls 👧. The room did trick.

Perfect place to spend a couple nights! All staff was incredibly helpful and really eager to make our stay as much comfortable as possible Location is also very nice, 5 minutes walking to the train station and city centre. As a person who was born and grew up in Viana do Castelo, the whole place made me feel at home. I definitely recommend and next time I'm visiting my hometown, I know where I want to stay.

The location was great - a short walk from the centre of town (4/5 minutes from main street; 10 minutes from main square), nearby a wonderful tapas restaurant (O Taberno) and other good places to eat breakfast, lunch dinner. Very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The host could not have been more helpful - providing advice and all necessary provisions. Our room had a balcony that caught the sun and was peaceful to sit on; no view but not expected.

Staff was very nice and beought extra tea for the bad weather! My only comment would be that the kitchen is not an actual place where you can cook. Just a microwave and to toast bread. Can be a surprise for anyone planning on making a meal

Very responsive hosts. Terrific location in a renovated building. Thoughtful room exactly as promised, right down to the terry robes.
