The amazing staff went above and beyond! More than just helpful each day I was greeted with a smile and asked how my day was. I really enjoyed the location. 10 minutes away from the harbour made it quieter, yet restaurants and the beach was walking distance. I found it the perfect location to explore the west and east coast of the island by scooter (which I rented from Mertasari) with most major tourist spots reached with 50 minutes. The pool was refreshing to cool off in. The bungalow was clean and even though there wasn’t a fridge, the fridge at receptions was available for guest to use. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the generous breakfast on the porch. The bathroom at times had a musty smell but a decent amount of hot water and pressure.

Not really a dislike but bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Dogs and chickens are quite vocal at all hours and the bungalows aren’t very soundproof.

The bungalows where in a quiet area but you can still find super nice restaurants and beach clubs close by and even walk there. You also have supermarkets or laundry’s just around the corner. You can also rent scooters at the bungalows. But what we liked the most was the room. It was super comfy, very clean (they cleaned it every day), you get fresh towels and fresh water every day. They also have a pool to relax. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. They managed everything we asked for, got us a nice welcome fruit plate and even dropped us for our snorkeling trip. It ist just a lovely family and we would always recommend this location just because of the people there! They made our 3 days so special.

The staff was so incredibly kind. I had a few little problems like ripped pants, for example, and asked for help, they took care of it! during my stay there, I got sick and the staff were so kind offering me some stomach-friendly food and water when I couldn't go to the store. I had to go to the hospital, and they continued to check up on me and welcomed me back after a week in the hospital with a coconut. The accommodation was lovely, I felt very safe there, very welcomed. I really had a great time there!

My friend and I had an amazing stay at the Mertasari Bungalows. The grounds were beautiful and the room was very clean; with nice outdoor(ish) shower and toilet. Bed was comfortable. What really stood out to us was the exceptionally friendly hospitality we received. From providing scooter rental to arranging a lovely breakfast that was brought to our bungalow, everything was spot on! The ladies even helped me care for a small cut I received during my travels and even came to my room to treat it with aloe - THANK YOU!!

A mini fridge would have been a nice touch but definitely not necessary. We had an amazing time and this place was great value for money!

This accommodation was just great for us. Its short walking distance from very good restaurants and beach front. We have rented scooter from them and it made it even better. People working at Mertasari Bungalows are just great. I can at least mention Ayu as she has put real effort to try to help with any request we had. Our breakfast was amazing start of each day we spent there. I would like to mention cleaning standard of place was high. We have traveled around Nusa Penida and it made us realize that this place is great base point same as place to stay that offers lots of activities. Its about 10 minutes drive from port and located in quiet road. The location offers nice spots for snorkeling so no need to travel far at all. I can only recommend the Mertasari Bungalows as per its standards and its location and more...

I really can not find anything to write here. We were so satisfied with our stay.

It was very clean, every day. The staff make sure every part of the bungalow houses is cleaned every day. The garden is very well maintained. We had an absolute wonderful stay, from the moment we were welcomed to the taxi when we left. The staff provided good options to have a drink or dinner nearby, which was very easy to reach with the scooters we rented at their place. They can also provide taxi pickup from the port, which we highly recommend since the prices (also after bargaining) offered by the taxi drivers at the harbor are quite high.

Absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff were so so so nice, welcoming and accommodating!! Some of the kindest people we’ve met! Very good value. 5 min walk to ocean/dive shops. Motorbike rental on site for good price. Great breakfast every morning!

The only negative thing I have to say is there was a very strong scent of moth balls in the room. Presumably to deter spiders/critters but man it was strong and not the most pleasant. After airing out the room for a bit, it got slightly better.

The bungalows were absolutely fantastic - very clean and traditional. The pool was well-maintained. The staff were the highlight of our stay here - from the moment we arrived, they were extremely friendly and welcoming. They brought us a welcome drink and a platter of fresh fruit, which we immensely appreciated. They also helped us organise several day tours around the island, all of which were marvellous. Our driver, Henra, was extremely charming, funny, and spoke impeccable English. He was happy to answer any questions we had about the local culture and tradition. Both the staff at Mertasari Bungalows and our driver Henra went above and beyond to always make us feel comfortable. We were extremely sad to leave and would happily stayed here for the rest of our trip. Thank you so much guys. Highly recommended!!!

A good place to stay cloe to the freediving school in Nusa Penida. Close enough so that I did not need to rent a scooter, also enough dining options close by. Vert nice terrace in the bugalow to sit

A fridge in the room would be nice (but they let me use the common fridge at the reception. There is a very boring wall in the rom that could use a bit decoration.Rooms arenot the biggest

The localisation was perfect for diving. We rented a scooter on site. It was really clean and the owner is a sweetheart. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The only thing we can think of is that there was no refrigerator in our room but there was one at the reception for cold water and our stuff.
