A last minute change allowed me to arrive six hours earlier than planned and as communicated with the hotel, shortly before 12 noon on a Sunday. Long before regular check-in hours. The small hotel was locked. No staff there at noon. I dialed the hotel's phone number, and five minutes later the owner arrived by car to check me in, and I was pampered with good additional service. The hotel and the restaurant are well maintained. Very nice and clean room. Well equipped, including international TV channels. Super WiFi. Breakfast was a la carte, starting at 7 a.m., a choice of five dishes, good and tasty, and so was the coffee. I very much enjoyed my stay.

It's quite some distance to walk from the hotel to the more interesting locations of Galati. But I knew that in advance so I can't complain. Took me some time to figure out public transport options.

If you are late and arrive in the middle of night, no problem. They leave you keys of hotel and room in the box outside. Location. Value for money. Parking. Free Wi-Fi.

Mattress could be softer and breakfast could be self-service.

Great air conditioning, big table and well-working wifi. Big and clean bathroom, calm street. A bit farther from the center, but relatively close to the train station.

Check-in was a bit confusing. The reception is on the first floor, but a man was calling something in Romanian at us ... it took a while to understand that check-in will be done at the bar on the ground floor. There the young lady knew some English, so finally everything went well.

Clean, quiet location, good breakfast.

Although that we booked a triple room they offered us only a double room. They stated that for a triple room we should pay 70 ron more. Which we refused. Also, the phone mentioned on site - nobody answered. However, we managed with a double room somehow. Was pretty annoying.

Breakfast is small. On the 2nd day I realized that there is a choice - a menu. Some of the staff is not smiling.

Did not eat

The beds were not together. The balcony was common with other rooms and easy to see inside- less intimacy. The design of the room was outdated. Quality of the furniture low. The beds were not put together.
