Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Bedroom was spacious, everything worked, lots of wardrobe and storage space with minibar drinks and snacks reasonably priced. Breakfast room was traditional, light and airy. Good value for money.

Only small suggestion - the room we were in (14) the curtains didn’t fit the whole way across the window, so the light came in and woke us very early in the morning. There were shutters on the outside of the windows but one didn’t close fully, and closing these also meant you couldn’t have the benefit of having the windows open. Other than that, bathroom a little dated but can’t complain for the price - everything else was great.

The location was perfect for us arriving by rail and to explore the city. Reception staff were very friendly, room was a reasonable size and quiet. A fridge was provided. Small table and two chairs also. For the cost it was very good value.

The power outlets were badly positioned, a handy writing desk was provided but no power outlet next to it. A hot water system located above the toilet was a potential head bump hazard. The elevator was rather old and small (but worked ok).

Great location near train station, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Good value... much cheaper than our hotel in Cologne... perhaps not as plush, but clean and met our expectations.

Reception is on an upper floor and is only staffed up until 2pm or so, and as we arrived about 5pm we didn't see another person until we checked out. This didn't really matter, just felt odd. Also quite a lot of noise from outside at night, but that's the downside of a central location.

It wasn’t very clear that there was no free parking around (we were only notified with an automatic message after booking). We were expecting at least a boiler and some tea bags and instant coffee in the room

Close to a public carpark and easy to find. Reception was closed when we arrived. We received a message explaining exactly how we could retrieve our key, so that was really good. A lovely bright room, very spacious with patio doors.that opened out so you can see the park. The room was exceptionally clean with a mini bar and a few snacks available. A kettle would have been a nice touch.

Carpet is never a good idea in a hotel!

The room is really clean and the staff are friendly. The location is convenient and nearby the train station.

The room faces the main street. Even when the windows are closed, you still hear loud noise/music from drunk/party people all night (until 5 am).
