The very stylish decor and quirkiness. The beds were comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and offered a free half bottle of wine and a drink. The lounge area was very cool.

The bedrooms had nowhere to store any clothes or toiletries except a few hangers in a tiny wooden unit. the bathroom area was not private and was dangerously being up a step and made of slippery marble type material. If i’d been sharing with a friend, rather than my husband I wouldn’t have felt comfortable. charging 2 euros per coffee pod or tea bag and only being given 2 of each for a 2 night stay at their room rate is excessively high. Didn’t like the breakfast arrangement of breakfast in the downstairs cafe. Had to wait a long time as staff serving customers from the street too.

Everything about RM Guest House was fantastic! It exceeded my expectations, especially as it was so reasonably priced. It was modern, clean, and beautifully updated and decorated. The room was supplied with robes, slippers and high quality soaps and lotions. Carolina at reception was very helpful, giving us great recommendations for restaurants, activities, even parking! The Guest House is located just a short walk from the old town, and many sights. We had wine upon arrival, cookies and even a decent breakfast, all included. I highly recommend RM Guest House, and will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely no complaints, or even suggestions for improvement—unless you could control the weather & stop the rain!!!

The room (suite) we stayed in was very spacious. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of local wine waiting for us in the room, adding a special touch to our stay. Additionally, the bath products provided were of excellent quality (Molton Brown) which we greatly appreciated. The wine from the honesty bar was very good too.

However, there were a few drawbacks that affected our overall experience. The breakfast arrangement was not up to par. Located below the B&B is a bakery from the well-known Portuguese chain, Padaria Portuguesa, where breakfast was served using a voucher system. This setup left much to be desired: on the first day, there was no fresh juice, and on the second day, there was no yogurt or fruit. The menu lacked flexibility, and we had to pay extra if we wanted something different. Another issue was the noise. The loud radio playing on the terrace until 9 PM and the constant humming noise from the air filters of the adjacent cultural center were quite disruptive.

Everyone was so nice! The soundproof rooms gave us the quiet we needed after a 9-day music festival. It was a short walk to good restaurants. And comfy bed.

It felt a wee bit tight in there. I might like a larger room next time if available. However, we were off adventuring most of the time, so it didn't really matter. The espresso machine kept collapsing the pods without them puncturing and making the espresso, possibly just user error lol.

Pleasant stay in this gorgeous hotel.Marta was very helpful on arrival and made us feel very welcome.The room was lovely and clean beautiful bedding (thankyou to the housekeeping team for doing a great job) loved the Moulton brown products,fresh water ,quality teas and coffee.Very stylish it's has a designer feel to it with lots of feminine thinking going into the place.It smells divine when you walk in.!! Liked the honesty bar in lounge area if you need extra water or even a glass of wine nice touch. Not far from the sea but also very near all the restaurants and shops. Parking was fairly easy on street or in a nearby carpark.

The breakfast was abit limited for us as we only eat plantbased there was only dry bread (nothing to go on it) or fruit salad in the cafe next door Setubal is not like Lisbon and has not quite caught up yet with the healthier plant based eateries

Our stay at RM The Experience was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. Every member of the staff greeted us warmly, eager to assist with anything we needed and always accompanied by a smile. Our room was impeccably clean and exuded luxury, with a delightful view overlooking the bustling main road of Setubal. The highlight of each morning was indulging in the delectable breakfast spread, made even more delightful by the nearby bakery offering the finest pastries and bread in town. Without a doubt, RM The Experience exceeded all our expectations, providing a truly unforgettable experience.

Kindness of the staff, cleanliness, space of the room

- the toilette in the bedroom separated only by glasses from the bed without any real privacy can be nice as design but probably not ok for most of the couples… - for stays longer than two nights it would be nice to see refilled coffee, milk and tea without extra charge - maybe a drawer or a bigger wardrobe could help the guests with the clothes

This hotel was amazing! Very modern and cool decor in the room and common areas. Everything was so clean and well-maintained, with high-end linens and towels. Loads of extra perks like free bottles of wine and water and Nespresso coffee pods. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous.

I loved everything about this hotel, but just a heads up for people who wish to share a room, the bathroom walls are made of glass which suits the modern decor, but may be a little awkward for some. However, there is a bathroom in the hall that offers more privacy, if needed (just don't forget your room key!). :-)

RM Experience was a gem of a place right in the hub of the port and old town. Staff was kind and courteous and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the area and suggestions were spot on! The attached bakery/cafe was an added bonus and we would recommend getting the added breakfast. The room was cozy and everything you had everything you needed. The design was exceptional and the soaring ceilings made the roomy airy.

it’s right on the main road of town and if you are an early to bed person, as for a room off street, if available. we use a fan app so, the slight city sounds didn’t bother us!

RM The Experience was a fantastic choice, with amenities like the shared lounge, breakfast at the neighboring cafe, and close proximity to an array of restaurants, and during our stay, the park across the street hosted the annual city Christmas market.

The rooms were a bit lacking on storage areas for clothing and bath items, which was a little tricky for our week long stay.
