Lovely grounds with access to the sea for swimming and a nice spa/ outdoor jacuzzi. There were many trails to explore and activities on offer. Comfortable room, lovely staff, breakfast in particular was fabulous!
We had a poor experience in the restaurant, the waiter seemed agitated that we’d been seated where we were and was quite dismissive- wanted us to order food before we’d ordered a drink. He then moved our table between starter and main course to accommodate a large party coming in. Once they arrived, his attention turned fully to them . After 30 mins with finished main course plates on the table we asked for the bill and left. At this point the manager did come over but the damage had been done really - it was my birthday and not what we had envisaged. We cancelled our reservation for the following night and ate in Sneem. I’d like to re-iterate that the rest of the staff at this hotel were super friendly and welcoming.

Scenery, facilities and trails were all amazing. Staff were very attentive and very helpful. Food was also very nice.
Too many children running around like it's a playground. Staff not feeling the need to remind parents they actually have to parent. Children running around the adults only spa unsupervised and nobody present to police the entry. From talking to locals in the nearby villages it seems a common complaint with parknasilla lately. For the rates you're paying you'd expect some level of enforcement of rules. Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break

The location was phenomenal, so beautiful. The staff were so attentive. From check in to check out, it was perfect. Breakfast was included in our stay, service was 10/10. I had the full Irish breakfast on the first day and the scrambled eggs and salmon on the second day. We walked one of the trails that they have to offer on their 500 acre property, absolutely stunning and well maintained. We dined in the Doolittle Restaurant. I had the featherblade beef, the meringue dessert and the sticky toffee pudding, both were delicious. The service was great and we weren’t waiting too long. The staff went above and beyond and were so helpful with everything.
In terms of our room, it was beautiful, I had booked the Mountain View room, but was quite disappointed with the view we got. We were located on the ground floor of the hotel, hence we didn’t see much mountains, as it was mostly just trees. The facilities in the room were ok, a few things worth mentioning was on some parts of the wallpaper it was tearing off the wall. Some of the furniture had a few scuff marks. I felt that the TV screen size wasn’t adequate for the distance from the TV to the bed.

Amazing location, staff, and facilities. Food was great. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Bar and cafe were very expensive. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were poor. Despite multiple signs, there were children in adults-only areas of the spa and pool. This was of course the parents' fault - not necessarily Parknasilla's, but there were no staff on hand to enforce the rules When I advised a staff member at reception she apologised and told me she would let her manager know. Unfortunately, this changed nothing the following day.

Almost everything. It’s a wonderful building beautifully maintained with fine artworks on every wall. The staff are attentive and well trained and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. I had dinner on both nights in the Pygmalion Restaurant which was faultless. The service from the food and wine waiters was superb. The team in the kitchen put together mouth watering plates of food which left me feeling that I’d had a quality selection of foods. I wandered around the building quite a bit and all the staff were friendly and engaging. All in all a terrific experience.
It would have been good to be able to go directly from the Spa to the sea jetty without having to go up through reception then out through the main entrance Dow n more steps to end up 10 metres from where you first started. The issue is elf and safety apparently 😱

We stayed for one night and the setting and hotel are amazing, weather was glorious and between the outdoor pool and infinity pool and gorgeous walks and beaches it is hard to think of anywhere that could be better Hotel itself was gorgeous and our room had lovely views of the mountains however our shower door wouldn’t close fully which led to a soaking wet floor. Staff were amazing however a little more attentive in certain areas, like explaining the tokens for the lockers in the spa & little bit more explanation from reception when checking in.. eg. Breakfast & where it is on Overall we enjoyed it and will definitely be back :)

I had stayed before and it was the very high standard that I expected. The bed was so comfy and the pillows soft and downy. I had to stop myself from bringing one home ..
I did have a bit of disappointment on the second night for dinner. I ordered the Lamb two ways I think it was called. Whenever I have had similar it had included the lap as this did, but this time it was pure fat and almost slimey and not crispy which is what I would be used too. Also one cutlet was very little meat and a lot of fat. However, I was offered a complimentary dessert which I very much appreciated

Hotel itself is spectacular when you arrive and the remoteness was ideal. Pool area and infinity pool was exceptional with the water heated and all facilities in perfect condition. We didn't get any treatments so can't comment there. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of food with excellent table service. Lunch and Dinner were only ok and not what you would expect for the prices so not a good review here - not that there was anything wrong with it but just very ordinary for extraordinary prices. Location is lovely and the walks and views around the hotel are like nothing else you would find.
Food at lunch and dinner could be better for what you were charged - we paid over €100 for lunch and nearly €200 for dinner for 2 courses. Found that €14 for a glass of wine extortionate and €17 for a cocktail if you wanted one a bit steep.

This was our second trip to Parknasilla in 6 months and again it did not disappoint. I had recently stayed in my first 5* hotel and it was not a patch on the experience I had in Parknasilla. If you are looking for a relaxing break away well this is the place to go. The beautiful grounds, numerous walks around hundreds of acres, the stunning infinity pool, food was great, we ate in the Doolittle restaurant for lunch and dinner on both days and most importantly the staff were amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful with everything, it appears nothing is too much of an ask. 5* worthy resort and we have already booked our return trip for September and we look forward to taking a boat trip from the resort around the stunning Peninsula.

Amazing Spa, Infinity pool lived up to expectations and the food was top notch. Really nice walking trails. Views are unmatched. Staff acted like a 5* Hotel.
Menu was a little limited in both restaurants and a little expensive €57 for a two course is steep. €7 for a pint was the most I've paid for a pint in all my travelling in Ireland. I wouldn't say you get 'Value for your money' with the food and drinks. Other than this everything was flawless. Just a small idea - Could do with a pickers for the sugar lumps for your tea/coffee.
