Great retro 70’s feel to this hotel. Pool was nice but we didn’t use it due to time constraints. Room was comfortable. No air con. Small tv. Breakfast was nice. Breads, meats, cheeses, salad, toast, jams, tea, coffee etc.

It is advertised as having parking which is the main reason we booked it. However they emailed me saying there was none. There is about ten public parking spaces outside the door. Paid for between 0800 and 2000. As we arrived at 2000 we only had to pay for time after 0800 the morning of our departure. 2.30 euros. You can only stay for 3 hours max though between these times. The concierge was unhelpful with assisting us with this. He just shrugged when I asked for help. We managed to squeeze in though unable to open one of our doors. The area is not great. Supermarket closed over the road. A few good places and a petrol station.

Great little gem of a spot with welcoming and helpful staff. Handy location with a 15-20 minute walk from main train station. A real generous and fresh breakfast. The sauna and pool was a real added bonus. Love to stay again.

That I was only staying one night.

located in a street near the centre, this hotel had all that we needed, easy to walk to eateries, and we luckily scored a parking spot right in front of the entrance and could put money into the Parking meter for the next morning already the night before. Use of the indoor swimming pool for no extra charge was a bonus on top of a reasonable room rate for an older hotel, and the included breakfast was quite tasty

Beds were a bit dated, and some staff were not overly friendly.

Wonderful hotel. Although it is a bit old fashioned, the hotel is amazing value for money. Breakfast was really good, the sauna and pool are a great facility and the rooms were spacious. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding and the staff were super helpful. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk into the historic centre where there are loads of restaurants and bars.

The hotel is located very conveniently and close to a tram station and the value-for-money is amazing! I did not use the pool or the sauna but it is quite nice to have these options. The personnel was very nice and helpful.

The rooms were clean but everything was quite old and rickety. The WIFI was quite slow - usable to check mails but Youtube is impossible. The walls are very thin, so it is unfortunately not advisable for light sleepers. Hopefully the hotel gets a good restauration while keeping its charm.

The family is hospitable. I like freshly made scrambled eggs. And good coffee, ham, cheeses, sausages. It starts my morning! The swimming pool and sauna is extremely worth it. Thanks for the treat.

the bed is too soft to me though. But I have good nite sleep.

Fast check-in, comfortable and clean room, swimming pool and sauna for free, very plentiful breakfast with many hot and cold dishes (like in a 4-star hotel, and not in a 2-star hotel). I regret I could not stay longer than just one night because the stay there was really relaxing. Overall the hotel is good value for money.

The equipment in the hotel is a bit older, but I believe it could be a good advantage if the hotel will change its name to Retro Hotel and will offer an authentic experience of staying in a hotel in the '70s and '80s. I am not ironic.

Only a few minute walk from the main busy part of the town (we took a tram from the train station). The swimming pool and sauna was a nice bonus. The room was basic but more than adequate. Very much a retro vibe. A special mention about breakfast. It was just superb, with a huge buffet style choice, omelette to order and very good coffee. Nice breakfast room overlooking the street. Overall excellent value for money!!!

The pillows were very thin.

Nice reception desk, loved the pool. Perfect to enjoy and relax after walking a lot during the day. Quiet and adequate rooms. Public transportation close by.

Understandable, due to sick or missing personell, breakfast on Sunday finished already at 9.30h or 10h (I do not remember exactly) but the personell insisted so much and unfriendly that we finish on time, that it was not pleasant to eat there, being rushed like this.

It's my standard hotel to go to when I'm visiting Saarbruecken since they have an indoor pool. Location is excellent, close to the St. Johanner Market and The Staden. The rooms are pretty small and a bit older but still okay. wifi works well, breakfast is good and staff is generally nice.

Not enough power outlets in the room to charge phone, laptop etc..
