The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the nearby marinas for transients, and Norfolk has about any amenity or store you could ever need close by. The area, despite its reputation, felt safe.

Although we had a non-smoking room, the room did have a strong smoking odor to it. The room was very clean, but the smoker odor was very noticeable. The beds were not the most comfortable, and there were not any extra blankets or pillows in the room.

Surprisingly good quality for a motel branded Econo Lodge. Although the building is a bit dated, my room on the second floor was very clean, well equipped, everything in good working order. Friendly staff, good location close to the beach and to restaurants and supermarkets. Recommended.

No breakfast on the day I stayed there. Prepared coffee once I asked for it.

The location was perfect for where we needed to be.

There is NO wheelchair accessibility that I could see. It is an approximate 4”-6” step up from the parking lot to get to any of the first floor rooms. Therefore, anyone with mobility issues would have trouble getting from the parking lot to their room.

Great location, there are several restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The room was very very clean and the room itself was highly maintained. The price for our stay was reasonable and the beach is a 10-12 minute walk from the hotel.

The bed could have been a little softer.

This was a pleasant surprise for a budget hotel! The room was as clean and comfortable as any big name hotel; do not let the exterior fool you! “Don’t judge a book by its cover” strongly applies to this Econo Lodge. Ample facilities, decent grab and go breakfast, friendly staff, and comfortable parking for all guests. Will recommend to anyone looking to stay near to the Little Creek beach without having to fork out the big bucks for decent accommodation.

We could hear guests checking out of their room in the morning if they were in the hallway, but otherwise the room was pretty quiet and we couldn’t hear anything during the night.

The price and availability on point customer services was great

The crack in the door you can see the outside light and bug and rodent can get in your room easily and the bed was very uncomfortable

A good basic hotel close to the beach in an area riddled with bad hotels... This hotel was nice and clean. I'll come back here next time I'm in the area.

Nothing not to like I had a comfortable bed and there were no bugs that's all I needed.
