The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Gary was very patient and friendly in the middle of the night when my sugar decided to tank and the system wasn’t fully cooperating. The rooms were spacious and my wheelchair was able to fit through all the doorways easily. The breakfast was amazing and there was something for everyone, no matter what your food preference is. The pool area was great as well! My boys loved swimming! This was our first stay away from home since my youngest was born two years ago and since my amputation that was a little under two years ago. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and was able to relax and enjoy a short family trip away from home.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property itself. If I had to suggest one minor change it would be higher toilets to be able to get up easier. It is a little more difficult for me to reach a standing position with the toilet being that low due to being an amputee.

We had a king bed room with a whirlpool in the room. The whirlpool was beautiful but very difficult to get in and out of… the tub was super slippery with no rubber mat or appliqués to keep you from slipping while getting in and out. There were no hand rails either. These are two items that would easily remedy this situation. The motel’s pool was over chlorinated to the point that it was difficult to breathe and the water was cloudy. Better ventilation would probably help here.

The hotel def. exceeded our expectations. It was clean, it is renovated and they stuck with the country theme to still keep the Amish look of the town. The staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious. We were looking at the super renovated hotels like Cartoon Network and the IHG hotel however they had horrible reviews but this place had great reviews. Don't let the pictures fool you, it looks like its old but it's actually not, it is fully updated, microwave and keurig in the room, coffee 24/7 in the hotel lobby and indoor pool. Breakfast was exceptional, loved the waffle maker, the kids were so happy. They have multiple options, scrambled eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, yogurt bar, cereal bar, bagels, assorted toasts, juices, muffins, milk, choc syrup. The only thing is lack of fresh fruit, the fruit offered is from a big can of fruit cocktail which is not a big deal at all. We saw Thomas the train and this was 7 min away from it. They are doing a great job!

Location!!! You can walk to the shops and you're just a short drive to most other attractions, restaurants or markets. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was friendly, especially the women who took care of breakfast. The pool was clean, and they had an outdoor firepit.

Beds were just okay. We came from another hotel whose beds were more comfortable. My major complaint and I addressed this with the front desk was that the tub drained impossibly slow. The second you turned the shower on, it was filling up. The drain was open, I checked, but barely anything was going down. You couldn't enjoy your shower cause of this. My 10 yr old slipped because the tub bottom was slick, and I'm glad I was standing there checking the drain when it happened. A snail moves faster than the water level draining. Within 5-10 minutes, the water was above your ankles. All the front desk said was maintenance would look at it.

We love the location and the staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They make the entire environment comfortable and welcoming. A member of our party has a disability and his favorite place to be is in the lobby, making BW our return place for our yearly trip to PA!

The washer and dryer do not work efficiently causing us to have to use a laundromat.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and well-appointed and bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast offered a variety of selections, both hot and cold. Location of hotel is within easy walking distance of shops. This is the only place my wife and I stay when we visit the Lancaster area.

Great location ,very large and very clean room. And a nice little balcony too. Staff was super friendly and accommodating .we will definetely stay here again .

Minor details No garbage cans on the hotel property except one at the fire pit are that was always full. Toilet was the lowest I’ve ever used and very low to the floor Toilet paper dispenser was more than an arms length away .

From the earliest moment of entry, we met Marla at check-in and experienced nothing but excellent customer service. Everything was great! As we checked out we've met Joely, she too was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the local whereabouts. Thank you!

It wasn't a huge deal, because we've checked out in the sunny morning and luckily we had alot of sun, but the lights weren't too bright inside the room.

The indoor pool was beautiful, spacious, and fun. Complimentary breakfast was good and located in a beautiful room, one of the nicest I've ever been in for breakfast! Outdoor facilities, like fire pit, were a nice touch. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Location was ideal and quiet, but convenient to local shopping and restaurants.

The walls were a bit thin in the rooms so we were able to hear a fair amount from above and next door.

Clean and comfortable room, tasty breakfast including scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausages, waffles station and other usual breakfast items. Real plates and utensils, not a paper-plastic ones. Clean pool and Jacuzzi area with pleasant air and water temperature, open 6am- 11 pm. Nice fire pit outside. Quiet area and hotel was quiet during our stay. It has a restaurant on site, also there is a spa, but it was closed on Sunday eve.
