Rooms were large and had limited kitchenette for preparing breakfast/lunch. The pool and spa area were very nice and quiet. The hotel is located right on the esplanade so its great if you want to go to the beach or take part in the esplanade activities. If you have a car, the location is great for exploring the area sites both around Cairns and north to the Daintree.

It would be nice to have a change of towels after 3 or 4 nights and maybe a light cleaning. The hotel policy is to provide clean linens only if staying 7 nights (unless you pay extra). We stayed 6 nights. Most hotels provide fresh towels after a 3 night stay.

Location across from beach, pub on property w food. Plenty of restaraunts nearby. Clean. Has a lift. I was walking from another location with all my luggage over uneven cobblestones, hot, humid, missed the location first time down the esplanade so my 20 min trip turned into 40 and I was an exhausted sweaty mess. Registrar took pity on me and gave me early checkin on first floor-thank you so much. Pitcher of water in fridge🤗 I liked they were upfront about construction.

Studio has a kitchenette area with good basic supply of dishes and cutlery, but as another pointed out, no sink to refill the pitcher or kettle, or to wash dishes. Sink in bathroom is too shallow. A water refill station nearby would help for the pitcher and kettle. I just rinsed the dishes as best I could.

A very lively location better than Cairns city, amazing place if you want to enjoy beach walks. About the property, we had late check in, so our hotel room keys were placed in envelope, we collected and entered our room, AC was already on and left for us to cool down after a long day of outdoor activities. We found the room to be spacious, pool views were nice and pool was about 10 steps from the room. Nice swimming facility, as I like deep swimming pool and spa. Free BBQ was a standout. At night, you could leave the hotel, go for a nice dinner to an amazing choice of restaurants and bistro, same goes for sunrise breakfast. A great location and if I come back to Cairns would definitely stay with them.

Great location, with ease of access to beach and local bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation also had the local bus stop outside which made it easy if you wanted to venture further. Also onsite tourist information, made booking additional trips easy. The cleanliness of the room was top notch and staff were always friendly. The real bonus was a lovely pool and BBQ area for guests to use :)

There are tiny ants in the room and as you don't have a sink in the kitchen, it's hard to keep everything clean to not have ants You have to wash your dishes in the toilet or bath tub which feels disgusting They were renovating and blowing leaves from early on, for many hours each day which was annoying They ask for your credit card info on the paper (I didn't give it and they never asked again)

The two women on the informational tourist desk were terrible they were snappy and very disinterested we asked one about her lunch from the fish and chip shop and she said it was terrible and other questions about general information she was not helpful at all. I am around the age of those women and I’d hope I was never snappy and rude like them maybe get someone with some enthusiasm, sorry to have to say this but we were going to write a Letter of complaint as they were bad for tourism.

Excellent location right in the centre of Palm Cove. Easy access to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Rattle and Hum bar nearby is excellent for food and drinks. Pool side BBQs are clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well equiped and beds are comfy.

It would have been great to know in advance that there is a Sunday market on the first Sunday of each month and the road access is totally closed off. We could not get our car out of the carpark without a lot of fuss and bother (and help) from the market organisers. Signage on the street advises 'No Parking' on the day and in very small type underneath 'road closed from 8am to 4pm). Parkng is restricted with not enough spaces for the amount of rooms, so get in early.

We liked the vibe and the location was excellent, in the middle of everything and across from the beach. Our balcony had a partial sea view and we loved that so much. Relaxing on the banana lounge watching the changing sea and sky and listening to the waves was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations, setting up transport and storing our luggage so we could enjoy our last day after checkout.

Just would have liked a little more crockery and cutlery as we were washing things mid meal to use to eat.

Floor tiles throughout looked old fashioned and a little dingy in appeal Though still in good condition and kept clean In my room 207 there is a build up of grime at bottom of walls probably from mop when floor is cleaned. Could be avoided if cleaning agent was sprayed and wiped after floor is mopped Noted only one deli next door, without adequate fresh fruits supply. Perhaps make a mixed fruit bowl offer if ordered from guest a day or two in advance could be added choice.

Our stay was made even better by the adjoining room arrangement, offering both privacy and convenience. Each room came with its own bathroom and balcony, and one even featured a separate bedroom and living area, catering perfectly to groups of friends or families seeking space to spread out. While the decor may lean towards the classic side and the beds weren't exactly cloud-like, they certainly served their purpose well, especially considering the fantastic value this hotel offers. Moreover, the reception staff were a delight, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of delightful.
