We loved everything about Drift resort. The swimming pool was amazing and the tropical greenery surrounding it.. the way they have designed the area so you rarely see other residents & holidayers. The ladies at reception were awesome! Special mention goes to Melissa on front desk. The world would be a better place if more people like Melissa were in it!

The glass shelf in the shower is an accident waiting to happen & the bed was situated in the wrong area.. it was like being on a landing strip at night. The smoke alarm had 2 red lights flashing above the bed, you could see the microwave timer on & the aircon light was also close to the bed

Wonderful facilities, beautiful pool area, location was perfect close to the beach, cafes, shops and restaurants and very friendly and helpful staff.

I loved everything

The location was great, right on the main street and walking distance to most places in Palm Cove. The apartment was very comfortable with good facilities and equipment. The balcony had a lovely garden and pool view. The smart TV was great for streaming personal apps and programmes. The Wifi was very good. The spa was great.

The second bedroom was not very private from the main bedroom. This was mentioned in the room description so make sure you read the room descriptions if this matters to you. The bedroom lighting was very bright and we read by torchlight so as not to disturb the 2nd bedroom occupant.

Location was great - appeared safe, quiet and clean area - walking distance to a variety of restaurants/cafe - but needed access to a car to access activities venues. Apartment was spacious with room divides to have some down time from each other in different rooms/areas and a balcony with outdoor seating. Equipped apartment with fridge, washer & dryer, TVs, large size dining table, storage areas for suitcases and bags, two bathrooms

Not much really - only negatives - slow check in - though during an off peak time quiet time that rooms maybe available b4 2pm - Design of car park - difficult to find allocated car park initially.

It's a great property no doubt. Feels like you are on holiday as you should. I would go again.

Reception closes at 1700, thats inconvenient. After hours check-in was a tad annoying as i had to wait for 40 minutes for someone to check me in. On my last night, my key card stopped working and could not get in to my apartment. Again inconvenient, and I again had to wait for someone to let me in but only 15 min this time. So maybe you can fix these issues. Regardless, I would still come back.

The lady at the reception was an absolute gem—she gave us the lowdown on where to go, what to do, and how to do it like pros. The room? Perfection. It had everything we could ever need, including a washer and dryer—because nothing says luxury like doing laundry on holiday! The decor was stunning, and everything was spotless. The other guests and locals? So polite and friendly, it felt like we’d known them for ages—like a reunion of long-lost besties. And that pool, oh wow—a tropical oasis surrounded by lush greenery, so peaceful and serene it had us Googling "how to move here permanently." If paradise had a to-do list, this place checks every box. Stay here, and you may never want to leave... or at least not without a forwarding address!

The pool was very well maintained and the water was perfect temperature. Also, love how they have a restroom in the pool area. The room had a nice balcony with decent outdoor furniture and beautiful view of the lush rainforest garden in the pool area. Also, appreciate that we had two bathrooms in the room with a family of four. All the appliances were all in good working conditions and the rooms were very clean with nice modern decor.

The mattress were too soft which made us have some sleepless nights.

Pool was really beautiful. Hot tub in amongst the tropical plants is magic. Location was right next to the beach, beautiful walk to all restaurants. Shops right across the road and great cafe next to entrance with breakfast and easy lunch options. Value for money for sure!

Our apartment had everything we needed and was clean. Nice large balcony with a direct sea view. Fixtures & furniture were a little older and could be replaced, but perfectly functional. Kitchen had everything needed. The 2nd bedroom has glass surrounds, so not full separate bedroom - i.e. light from TV can be seen / heard in that room It was fine for us, but worth noting for other travellers.

Absolutely brilliant accommodation, perfect for my mother and I for our week in Palm Cove. Two queen beds, two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer - even a second TV in one bedroom area. A big balcony with comfortable chairs, overlooking the stunning pool and tropical trees. A full sized fridge with freezer, good kitchen with stove top and microwave. Lots of cooking equipment and utensils available. Mere steps away from the esplanade, the restaurants, shops and the beach. An unbeatable pool with numerous areas for lounging, plus tables and chairs. The spa pool is huge and at the perfect temperature, under the dappled shade of the gorgeous trees. Good parking available.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment We have stayed at the Drift Palm Cove before great location and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

There was a smart TV in the bedroom only the main TV was dated. Also the micro wave wS also old and you couldn't see the instructions on it and had to guess the settings. Outside furniture requires replacing , also the was holes in the main bathroom door which needed a new door .
