Lovely serene environment gorgeous pool and fantastic swim up room. Chilled environment. Perfect for a relaxing break. We found it helpful to have a car for access to amenities and easy access to Cairns for early starts for our reef tours. Thankyou!

We weren’t provided with additional toilet paper or any tissues for the stay, only one roll for the entire week, so we had to go to the supermarket for supplies. No room servicing offered for our stay although it was nice to be able to be self sufficient.

Very pleasant surroundings, apartment had plenty of natural ventilation, plus ceiling fans in lounge & bedroom, as well as air-conditioner in both lounge & bedroom. Newly renovated bathroom & kitchen - very modern looking. Washer dryer, plus clothesline on balcony. Loved the outside balcony - perfect for breakfast am & drinks pm. Pool was great with beautiful surroundings. Only a few minutes stroll to beach, supermarket, & restaurants etc.

No onsite manager. Bit of a hiccup on arrival - as I had been staying FNQ - Thursday Island - I did not get my key code as no internet access. On arrival to Cairns- I expected to see a txt message but did not receive one. Rang manager from site & all sorted over phone) in a few minutes - but not a nice way to arrive.

We loved this property! So glad we stayed in Palm Cove and especially at The Palms. Do not hesitate to stay here. It is so lovely, clean, unique and owners are delightful.

Communication with owner was very efficient. The king size bed was super comfy and the apartment was a perfect size for my husband and I. Quiet resort with beautiful balinese inspired gardens.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight, starting with the unique perk of having direct access to the pool from our room, which was a refreshing convenience we thoroughly enjoyed. The bathroom was equipped with a dual showerhead, adding a luxurious touch to our daily routine. The hotel is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and beautiful boardwalks that offered a serene escape into nature. Additionally, its proximity to the local pub, just 50 meters away, and a mere 3-minute walk to an abundance of local eateries, made our dining experiences varied and accessible. The beach, just a few minutes' walk away, was the cherry on top, providing easy access to sun, sand, and sea. This hotel truly provided us with an unforgettable stay, combining luxury, convenience, and natural beauty.

The proximity to the local pub and a plethora of eateries meant our biggest challenge was deciding whether to walk 50 meters or 3 minutes for a meal — truly a high-stakes decision after a day lounging at the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. And speaking of nature, the lush tropical gardens were a hide and seek paradise for the local wildlife, turning our serene walks into a guessing game of "What rustled in the bushes?" Overall, these quirky aspects only added to the charm of our unforgettable stay. In all seriousness the only problem was the mosquitoes, but welcome to the wet tropics, they are part and parcel of the beauty of this end of the world, even then the Palms have spray readily available at no cost to deal with the hungry little suckers.

This place is a tranquil oasis, a point of difference from some of the other larger hotels. The pool was never busy due to the low number of apartments! It was super easy access to the Main Street by foot, had easy parking too! The apartment amenities were great and everything that you need! There was even sunscreen to use if need :)

We were in apartment 8 in the back corner, unfortunately there was a fair bit of noise from the road next to the apartment and from the ?vacant block behind it, people seemed to congregate there. If you were in a different apartment number it wouldn’t be an issue at all! I recommend getting one with a view over the pool. Also would be great to have more tea, pods, toilet paper, tissues etc as our stay was 5 nights and there was 3 of us, we did end up asking for more sugar which one of the cleaning staff helped us to get!

Loved how private the property is and the gorgeous tropical plants everywhere. Everything has been decorated beautifully! Cleanliness was an 11/10 absolutely spotless. Also having access to a pool was key during the summer heat. Perfect location for a stroll down to Palm cove shops or our favourite, Nunu, for an afternoon cocktail. Despite there being a cyclone recently, we were able to fly into cairns no issue and drive to Palm cove. We even did lots of exploring of the surrounds.

We had a wonderful trip at the palms as a family of four with two teenage daughters. It’s a very nice and quiet boutique resort, but still walking distance to everything. We were very comfortable in the room, and the pool facilities and sun beds and cabanas were fantastic. We look forward to coming to stay again. The apartment was absolutely spotless. And great value for money.

Nothing, we loved everything

The Palms is a small property (9 units) located on a lushly vegetated block. The pool area is pretty, and the bbq facility a nice facility. The beds are comfortable, the veranda large and well furnished ( unit 6), and the beach and restaurant strip only about 200m away. The value is excellent and the kitchen is well equipped

Our unit was adjacent to the main road into Palm Cove, including the bus route. It was noisy early morning. The shower sprayed nearly as much water out onto the bathroom floor as onto the intended target!

It's a beautiful spot for the pool, surrounded by lush green and comfortable seating. Lovely garden, 2 min walk to the beach, supermarket and coffee. Get a massage at sani body across from the supermarket, Sarah is amazing. Lovely decoration on the walls. Brand new fridge with ice, lovely bathroom. Friendly hosts who leave their mobile for any issues. I've given 4/5 for location literally because it's not on the front but honestly the location is excellent and for the money this is a great stay. Beds comfortable to sleep in. We will defo return.

The blanket for the bed was old and worn and we only got 1 not very big towel but next time I'd just take my own.
