Great location. Massive lobby and hallway. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff is super helpful. They lent me an umbrella when we thought it was going to rain hard. They were also very accommodating when I had to cancel our first night as we were stranded in Bali due to a volcanic eruption in Indonesia.

There was only one working elevator (the other one was presumably under repair). I booked for two guests, yet they squeezed us into a double bed.

Best Coffee tasted in Davao so far... The bed is so comfortable... Location is near several landmarks... Prompt housekeeping... Commendation to the basement parking personnel for always assisting us...

Poor front desk management.. Booked 4 rooms but the frontdesk could not identify which room to give us. She gave us a room number which is already occupied and then transferred us to another already occupied room. They gave us another room for the 3rd time but when we arrive there, it is not the correct room specification we booked hence, we transferred again. They do not have proper system in room assignment despite the fact that they collected our ids.

Every time I go to davao city I stay at royal mandaya hotel I go threw my booking agency and this last time I went I got upgraded to a family suite at no extra charge and I love the service and breakfast

Well to be totally honest there is nothing I don't like about royal mandaya hotel the nicest people work there and thing is they remember u and treat u with respect

All the staff were incredibly friendly, and, although I didn't opt to have breakfast included, the restaurant met my requirements with no problem. I greatly enjoyed both the pool and gym, I'd go back there quite happily.

Some nights I had mosquitos in my room, I had to hunt them down...

The ability to change my room to an upgrade was very helpful. Everyone was very willing to help out with things I needed. Even got a room for a few hours on the last day so I could sleep when the AC went out in my room.

I feel like the room descriptions should be clearer. I took the room online that listed the most amenities with the room, assuming that was the upper level room. Turns out they listed all amenities on the lowest tier room, so I wound up with a room with which I wasn't particularly happy.

The location was perfect for our business trip. The staff were nice and approachable. Room was cozy although there are improvements that can be made.

Aircon was not cooling during the 3rd day of our stay. Fridge in the same room was not cold. They transfered us to another room and all went well.

The staff were friendly, approachable and respectful. They also started to know us by the time of our 4th breakfast.

Our room could have been swept during our stay. No secure lockable storage in the room Bathroom needed a little more cleaning

Best Location, spacious room,accommodating staff. Old but well maintained but can still be improved with better pillows and comforter. Wifi is not the best but manageable. Good food in their restaurant.

Maybe lobby needs more light? I got insect bites from the restaurant in the lobby.

The room and bathroom can use a little updating. The place is older so it's understandable. Otherwise, it was clean and had no funky smell.
