It is a pleasant hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. Room was nice, breakfast was good and there was a lift which is always good to have. I have no complaints to make. It is in the university district and it was an interesting mix of people in the streets around. It was easily reached by taxi from the railway station and they got me one for the airport in the morning no trouble although Bologna's traffic is heavy so remember that.

The location was a problem which is not their fault - I misread the map when I made the booking. It is a bit of a trek on foot if you want to head for the centre and Neptune's statue and the cathedral and the towers and the restaurant area. .I need a stick for walking so do look at the map carefully -

This was my 2nd stay here, so to speak. I took a one night detour to San Marino. I actually enjoyed my room here far more and the hotel was very receptive to my request for a quiet room after my sleepless journey in San Marino. Hence, I can only speak highly of the staff that work at this hotel. As I said in my previous review, the location is central enough. The breakfast is basic, but it matches your needs nevertheless. They could possibly look at the toaster though, as two of the four slides for it don't work. Besides that, I really enjoyed this stay with the room upgrade and the view from my room was quite beautiful.

The hotel is on a street that leads directly to the centre, in a pleasant neighbourhood, but a 15 minute walk or more from anything you want to get to. The room was comfortable. The twin beds were right next to each other. The staff were great, the downstairs lobby was nice, with good chairs. There was a decent sized elevator, and it worked, and there's just one small step up from outside, so pretty good on accessibility. There was an electric kettle and cups for tea.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived, despite them having agreed to our arrival time. The room was also very cold, and the tiled floor was icy. The air-conditioner had a remote that let it be switched to heating, but it just blew cold air when we tried it. But it's only just got cold, maybe they will put heating on soon.

The hotel was located in the monastery from 16th century. The furniture was a bit old but the room was cosy and clean, as well as heated in a nice way. I enjoyed the occitane cosmetics in the bathroom. The variety of the breakfast was little smaller but sufficient and delicious. The stuff of the hotel was really helpful. There is a bus connection from the train station to the hotel but you need to be careful because there are 2 varieties of bus 25 and one of them doesn't go to the hotel.

I'd recommend the hotel for anyone staying in Bologna. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when the key to my hotel room broke. The breakfast was basic, but it matches your needs as a traveller. The location is also central. It's on the edge of the centre, but still in the centre nevertheless. I didn't like the walk in shower in the room though. It had no shower head, which I do prefer to have. Otherwise, I enjoyed my experience here.

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town. If you book parking, you can park in the hotel yard if there is space (about 5 parking spaces) or by the road, where the hotel has one parking space. It is about 1.5 km to walk to the center of the old town, where there are many attractions as well as shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are large enough and furnished with beautiful furniture. Very good place to stay, I will definitely go back there when I get to Bologna.

The breakfast was very poor. There wasn't much to eat other than croissants and fruit. When there are no customers in the rooms, the rooms could still be heated, because when I went to my room, there was a strange smell, but after ventilating and turning on the air heat pump, the smell disappeared.

Staff helpfulness and friendliness and room and bathroom sizes large. Breakfasts had wide choice and all very nice (but no hot food except boiled aggs).

A bit old fashioned, the light in the bathroom hard to find Bed covers heavy and overwarm. There should have been a blanket option, as it was too hot without aircon being on, yet too cold with only a sheet.

Perfect location for meetings at the University, but also for the historic centre. This hotel is full of character. A spacious, quiet (at least at the back of the hotel...) and comfortable room with excellent air conditioning. Wonderful staff - friendly, funny and absolutely charming! The hotel is excellent value for money.

I salute the high professionalism of Mr. Massimo, the receptionist of Hotel Pedrini, in Bologna. He is the best. His kindness, his availability and his natural elegance in the way he interacts with guests transform every stay into a memorable experience. He is a true ambassador of Italian hospitality.

Our room was clean at all times, the fridge wasn't working but was replaced with a new one. The location of this hotel was perfect, close to the square and bars and shops. If anyone is staying here please book a meal at Da Silvio which is literally behind the hotel - 3 min walk you will NOT regret this.

The breakfast was limited, I think a larger selection would of been better. I saw on the last day that you could request meats and eggs, this sign is not very visible - so this needs to be made more aware.
