The location is amazing for a start then the apartment is modern clean well facilitated & very very comfortable. The host is fantastic & has supplied absolutely everything you could need, as soon as you see your first sunrise in the morning you realise how special that place really is it's breathtaking. It's also extremely good value for money in my opinion its too cheap there absolutely is no place better for that money it's truley exceptional

Nothing it's perfect you will not find better

The accomodation, even though attached to main house, it felt very private, no doubt helped by the design with garages inbetween. The layout design of the accomodation was spot on too. There were several extra touches. A walk in closet with a mirror and seat to aid getting ready. Outlook was beautiful too, but even if it had been terrible weather we would have been happy staying here.

Sometimes I have no idea when I will arrive at a place and feel the pressure to let hosts know especially if its somewhere we haven't been before and might wish to explore before we check in. If they can say if you don't know please just collect key from lockbox. I would feel less pressure. (this is minor and probably no big deal to most people.).

If we could give 11 out of 10 we would give it. It was by far the best place we stayed during our 4 week trip to New Zealand and the best value for money. The stay exceeded our expectations in many very important areas (location/views, number and quality of home devices and furniture, garden, breakfast, very good wifi) and the small ones (like range of tea and number of tea bags, TV with unlocked channels, local tips, New Zealand guide book, welcoming chocolate candies, I could have mentioned much more of those) On top of that the place was extremely clean and the host so helpful.

The weather was bad but even in spite of this we enjoyed the stay there so much.

Quiet and peaceful, superb views from the property. Beautifully clean and superbly appointed. Breakfast items were provided, cereals, bread, milk, jam, butter, fruit and juice. Be sure to catch the sun rise it’s well worth getting up early to watch. The clear dark night skies are great for stargazing.

Whilst not a problem for us the settlement of Rarangi is quite remote with virtually no amenities the nearest small supermarket is more than 5 miles away, as are any bars and restaurants should you wish to dine out.

We enjoyed the short distance from town, but it made us feel like we were nowhere near it. Private and peaceful. Had everything we needed. Showing up late at night, it was really nice to see items for breakfast the next morning. Property was clean, and the bed was very comfy. We will be back. ♡

Enjoyed everything!!! Would have loved a fire pit or gas heater so we could have stayed outside longer at night listening to the waves.

The inclusions and cleanliness at this B and B were brilliant. From the comfort of the bed, the breakfast and pantry items and everything you could possibly need to self cater made for a great choice of accommodation. The best part for us was the amazing sunrise views, walks on the beach and the peaceful location and slower pace.

Could not find one negative about this accommodation.

Mel was an excellent host. The home is well stocked up from the kitchen to the room. Mel thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It's a home away from home. It's around 50 meters from the beach which can be accessed from the garden, gorgeous sunrise (brave the cold – it’s worth it), long walks on the beach, and the grand finale are the night stars. You get to see the Milky Way on a clear night

I am cracking my brain to think of something negative to write and I cannot find any except we should have stayed longer. In my opinion, this is not a "stopover" accommodation place. This is a place where you will need to stay a minimum of 3 days or more to enjoy the location and environment.

Location and cleanliness was great but the thoughtful things that the host thought of to make our stay feel welcoming and cosy and comfortable was a highlight. Breakfast was great, a few varieties to choose from and it was super quiet which was perfect for time away from kids. It felt like a vacation away from home.

This was an idyllic location with views to the beach and beyond. The accommodation was beautifully presented and well supplied with everything you could need for a short stay. It was a spacious apartment attached to the main residence. The hosts were very helpful and communication was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation is perfect and I highly recommend it. It is spotless, spacious, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The bed is super comfortable, and the view is awesome. We enjoyed walks and hikes around as well as local wineries. Mel was very friendly and helped me a lot as I had forgotten some stuff at the place and she sent it to me, so thank you so much for that!

just plan a stay that is a day longer, it is a really nice place
