Location was perfect. The bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed our stay for the most part

The noise from cars playing loud music in the parking garage during the evenings was very disruptive. Since downtown McAllen has a lively nightlife scene, especially with the bars and clubs on 17th Street nearby, it’s not surprising that the same crowd often carries over into the property. However, I believe the management should take stronger steps to address the issue, particularly the loud music in the parking garage. Even something as simple as posting signage to prohibit loud music during evening hours would help improve the experience for residents and guests. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was very low during my stay, which made it less comfortable than expected.

I will be honest, I was disappointed with the breakfast. The night before my son and I were excited about the breakfast buffet we saw on the video on the website. When we got to the dining room area we discovered it really wasn't a thing except for special occasions when we were told by our server. He came off a bit rude. My son settled for a glass of water and I ate a midas plate.

A friendlier waiter. I encounter many employees during my 3 day stay. The front desk was great, the bartenders were fun to talk to and even got a chance to talk to Steven Villarreal, the Sales and Marketing Director. Nice man. The maintenance man was also friendly

Beautiful location everyone was very friendly and everything was very clean, I really liked the fruit essence water at the front that was available and the nice bar.

The AC system, it was extremely humid, but the third night I did ask for a dehumidifier and it made a massive difference, so I will definitely continue to stay here in the future and just remember to ask for dehumidifier as soon as I get there.

After a long day of traveling we didn't feel like going out for dinner. The Spanish room had a great menu, and we had an excellent dinner. We chose to eat in the lobby area. It was comfortable and noise level we maintained a good conversation.

We poured a soft drink in the sink and later found ants. It is an older hotel but well maintained with lots of character and photo opportunities.

The hotel was gorgeous, comfortable, and very clean. It has a rustic feel to it. The scenery was breathtaking, and the entire hotel was spacious and felt very safe.

For the hotel being as grand as it is, I expected the front desk staff to have more personality and better customer service skills. However, this was not the case. I engaged with 2 different front desk clerks, and both had very bland attitudes, barely spoke or smiled, and sadly, it seemed like they were just not in the right field to be the first impressions of the hotel. There needs to be more interaction with guests. Explain the good things about the hotel to us. Tell is what's exciting nearby. Tell us SOMETHING aside from just our room number.

i love this hotel we came here first time last year when i was pregnant, now we came back with our toddler and love it even more, the place is beautiful and very spacious, we got to use the pool and love the towels at our disposal. You can pay for Breakfast which is made at the moment, delicious and coffee as well.

I booked a king room with a courtyard view but because they were overbooked, I was placed in a double room. It wasn’t the same as the room I booked which had a full couch and a balcony with chairs yes I was charged the same price. I was given two free drink for the inconvenience which I appreciated but there has to be a better way to book rooms and to know you’re getting what you booked.

Early check in was allowed - at no extra cost. Breakfast was simple. Service was good but there should have been a breakfast menu - there were no extras offered, such as cereal, fruit, or yoghurt. Our room was upgraded to an inner courtyard room overlooking the pool. Excellent location for a visit to the fabulous SALT restaurant right opposite.

Happy Hour Margaritas were premixed in a bottle - so you could not actually see the contents and whether they were genuine or not.

Everyone was super nice. We had a blast with the bartenders. Everything was clean. The only thing is, we didn't get towels when we asked for them. Front desk asked when we checked in if we wanted cleaning service the next day. I said no, just towels. We NEVER got them. Also, the room was VERY SMALL. But we were ok anyway.

My room was too small. Not sure if that's what I reserved to be honest. Also, the fact that they don't have continental breakfast. Because the restaurant is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

Beautiful atmosphere with tropical vibes. It was so nice to wake up to the view of many palm trees and the pool. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. The rooms were spacious. There are so many great restaurants just less than 10min walk. It was so relaxing to just walk to Birdies for breakfast, try neve coffee, eat dinner at SALT. Enjoyed our staycation in the RGV. We would definitely do it again. Very polite staff.

The hotel needs more up upkeeping and maintenance overall.
