The staff was excellent - very helpful, excellent English. The resort is well maintained and provides quiet respite from Bali's traffic. There are two swimming pools and the water doesn't heat up. For me, a cool swimming pool is important The room was very comfortable with a view of the pool. Quality linen provided Bottles of water, not plastic, provided everyday. The hotel restaurant served good food. They also offer room service Prices were OK.

The wifi was intermittent but was never out for a long time. A staff member would reset the router when required. The location is OK. Close to shops and restaurants. It was 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach. I guess there are cleaner beaches near by but the resort was so comfortable, I swam in the pools.

Our first stay during our trip to Bali and we absolutely loved it. Everywhere else has been a bit disappointing since! Staff are phenomenal and go above and beyond to help you. They are so smiley and welcoming. Cold towels and a drink on arrival which was lovely. There are 2 pools, we only used one but it was lovely and quiet. Beds around the pool were comfy and had umbrellas. Our room was great, free drinking water provided and free Coke and beer in the minifridge. The restaurant here is unbelievable. We ate here on the first night, the nasi goreng is the best I've had all trip. We don't normally eat in the same places again but ate here for dinner for a second time as well as lunch and breakfast on different days. Each time, the food and drinks were fab. We asked them to help us with some laundry too which they did. Highly recommend!

The only thing I didn't love was the pillows, there were 2 and one was slightly firmer than the other but they were still a little too firm for my liking.

Excellent hotel. Its a new hotel and they have maintained it very well. The quality of the amenities provided in the hotel is top notch. Bed was more than comfortable and room was clean and spacious. We felt like a home. Staffs are very courteous. All the beach clubs are nearby the hotel. All restaurants, cafes, markets everything was in walkable distance. Their pool was amazing and very clean. Loved the stay and highly recommend when in canguu

I stayed at Chesa Canggu for 10 days as a solo traveler, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, and the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. A special shoutout to Leo and Ariana for going above and beyond—they were always attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making my stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The restaurant staff was outstanding, delivering exceptional service every day. The chef even came out personally to ask for feedback, ensuring everything was perfect—a rare and thoughtful touch that made dining there feel special. What truly stood out was the care I received when I got sick during my stay. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to check on me, offering help and making sure I was okay. Traveling solo, this kind of hospitality meant the world to me. An amazing experience from start to finish. The warmth, attention to detail, and genuine kindness from the team made this place feel like home. I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Canggu. The hotel is a beautiful serene environment and we had a lovely ground floor room over looking one of the pools. The air conditioning was wonderful in the room, and we enjoyed lovely food and drinks. All the staff were incredibly gracious at all times. The hidden gem was the beautiful lounge on the first floor next to the gym.

Would have liked a bed and breakfast option as the food was good. A bedside table and a reading light, as well as better storage for clothes would have been very welcome too. The road outside the hotel is narrow and busy with traffic, so a little hazardous to walk anywhere.

We genuinely could not have asked for anything more from our holiday. From beginning to end, the staff were incredibly accommodating and ready to help with any request we had. The food at the on-site restaurant was amazing, and staff were happy to bring it to the pools or the rooms. The rooms were re-done every day and always pristine, the two pools are gorgeous and truly feel like tropical paradise. The hotel is 5 minutes away from a bunch of restaurants as well as the beach. There's a great gym on-site and another excellent gym within 7-minute walking distance. Despite the location being in a very touristy area, the hotel is super quiet. Would definitely book again.

The bathroom lighting is a bit dim, but that's a tiny detail, i would just bring a mirror with lights next time :)

I stayed at Chesa Canggu during Silent Day, and it was a wonderfully serene experience. The hotel’s calm atmosphere, beautiful layout, and stunning pool design made for a relaxing stay. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff—Leo and Rizqy were especially fantastic and made my visit even better. The room was spacious, perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were so good that I made sure to note the brand! There was a full-length mirror, but its placement beside the safe wasn’t ideal for outfit pictures. The lighting in the room was decent, and the large balcony overlooking the pool was a great feature. While the gym and all other facilities were excellent—modern, clean, and well-maintained—I did feel that the stay was a bit pricey since breakfast wasn’t included. However, overall, Chesa Canggu was a lovely and peaceful place to stay.

Location was near the beach and other facilities as well. Overall we had an amazing stay. The staff were helpful and courteous from the moment we arrived, until our departure from the property. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would require. The pool, gym and lounge were very well maintained and just beautiful. We coudldn't have asked for more. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff who always went out of their way to help us no matter how big or small our requests were. We also appreciate being able to hang around the pool and lounge while waiting for our transport after checkout.

The people at Chesa Canggu are fantastic! Extremely warm and helpful. As a solo traveler I truly felt cared for every step of the way. The pools are so relaxing, the bed is super comfortable and the restaurant is great. The hotel is located in a strategic spot halfway between the beach and the main road, but because it is on a quieter street there is no noise despite being at the center of the action! Thank you so much again for everything!!

I stayed at Chesa Canggu for 5 days and it is exactly what you want in a hotel for that price. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff (E.g. my TV wouldn't link to my laptop so they brought me a new TV within 5 minutes). The pools are both well maintained and nice to chill and read at. The food I only had breakfast but the smoothie bowls are as good as any in Canggu, coffee is great and fruit platter was more ripe and tasty than a lot of the more expensive cafes nearby. And of course the location...so close to everything you want and the beach, yet quiet as it's tucked away on a slightly quieter road. Highly recommend staying here.
