Location downtown was interesting and great for a morning bike ride.

We had a fire alarm go off at 2am. No one acknowledged it later, plus I suggested to the person at the desk that he go outside and tell people they could return to their rooms. Conclusion was that night staff may have been trained in fire department protocols but not in relation to customers.

Only had something at the coffee shop. Check in person was great, very friendly and helpful with information regarding room, amenities etc.

I ordered a small coffee and small hot chocolate at the coffee shop. Both were lukewarm, not hot at all. My husband ended up dumping most of his out as not warm and tasted funny. These were $5 each for poor quality.

Best night of sleep ever in a hotel. Very comfortable

There's something about hotel shower design that makes no sense. Like many other places, you have to standing IN the shower to turn it on and also adjust the temperature. It's crazy. Skipped the shower completely since I didn't feel like freezing

Centrally located and The Informalist and ECDC on site make it great for not having to leave if we didn’t want. Rooms are well appointed and there is a hip vibe throughout

Out room was adjacent to the Dive Bar so we had to keep the shades drawn for privacy from the rooftop deck and could hear celebrations into the night. Wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t think about the view being lackluster.

Would have liked a complimentary breakfast. Loved the location. Parking garage was a nice bonus as we had bikes and they stayed dry. Great staff.

Lack of breakfast for the price point.

This is in a really great location in Eau Claire with easy access to businesses of all types, including stores, restaurants, bars, and a multitude of others--and right next to the river.

It was a bit spendy for one room and a bed.

The price is incredibly steep for City.. The mattress was not very comfortable.. It felt way past it's prime.

Rooms were clean and very spacious. Lobby was very beautiful and gym was immaculate. Very close to things nearby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

No microwaves in rooms.

The young man at reception was kind and helpful. He answered questions cheerfully and offered information readily. Location could not have been better. Free parking. The welcome cookies were delicious.

The bed had a slight slope to it which felt strange but was comfortable enough. The bed frame however was a hazard in the compact room and we kept hitting the corners.

Modern, lovely & best of all was the comfortable bed.

I’m not used to paying for parking at a hotel, usually that’s included.
