Oversized rooms

Spent 2 nights there. I left early am the first day and when I returned that pm I noticed someone had been in the room. A light had been shut off and a set of dirty towels was exchanged for clean ones. I do not like the idea that people can enter your room at anytime when you have personal belongings laying around. There was a no disturb sign to put outside of door nor was anything said about daily cleaning when I checked in. Other than that the stay was great.

You can not beat the room for the price we paid. The owners/managers were extremely friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper was wonderful and checked daily to see if we needed anything. Having a microwave and frig worked out so well for our one week stay. There was plenty of ice and hot coffee. Plan on going elsewhere for breakfast. But again, for that price it is worth the stay.

Comfortable room. Bed mattress was just right -- not too hard or soft. Quiet. Close to restaurants. Friendly check in person. Stayed here many times before (when it was The Antlers Inn), and the standards have remained consistent with my expectations.

Check in person could have been more prompt to check me in. The shower and tub were old and needed improvements. I was discouraged from using them. The sofa cushions were frayed (had holes). No coffee service in the room. Nothing for breakfast -- just hot water and coffee in the office. Certainly this could be improved. Wouldn't take much to do it.

The price was right! The room was exceptionally clean and spacious although it was rather dated. The king size bed was fabulously comfortable. The shower head was great although the bathroom was not large. The flat screen TV offered a large variety of news and other program choices.

There was no coffee pot set up in the room. No kind of breakfast of any kind available. Because we left before 6:00 am, we had to leaving this motel and start our day and our trip without any morning coffee.

This hotel is about the least expensive one can find in the area and I really needed to get off of the road given the hour. There is no breakfast to speak of (coffee and donuts) but I usually don't eat the breakfasts at hotels anyway. The room was clean and comfortable.

There was some noise when some late arrivals entered the room next to me and there doesn't seem to be adequate light available in the room if you aren't going to sleep right away or just vegging out with the TV.

The hotel was perfectly maintained and spotless. The room was large, well-appointed, well-ventilated with a super comfy bed. The price was very reasonable. And, the area was quiet. They offer decent coffee and a variety of donuts. I was not expecting anything so having coffee right there was a pleasant surprise. Professional and polite woman checked us in.

Everything was great.

I loved the friendly motel management and the comfort of my room. I also love the location of the motel.

Well, I suppose I'll say price of the stay. It was affordable for me, but I wouldn't mention it if there weren't donuts or cereal in the lobby in the morning. I know that we are in a rough economic time right now. The motel has to cut corners like the rest of us. I understand.

The breakfast was non-existent. Only coffee. I had to get breakfast on my own. Usually, there was something for breakfast, like donuts, oatmeal, and bananas. That was in the past. I guess inflation has affected that. The room was warm and cozy, and clean.

I guess that there was no breakfast food at all. Nice to have coffee, though.

I've stayed here a few times in the last few months and they have always been so kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and for being right next to a byway it's extremely quiet.

The housekeeper knocked unnecessarily hard and before I could even figure out what was going on she walked right in! I feel if someone is staying more than one night the patron is capable of asking for towels and anything else. I'm a very private person and the fact that the housekeeper is in my space without permission is very upsetting.

It was a decent hotel. At my arrival the staff lady was nice. There was maybe one weird guy who seemed to be on something, though. He didn't bother me at all at least he was friendly so that's okay. Floors were not the best but for this price it was worth it.
