Had family suite but had one dressing gown in wardrobe Had kettle but one tea bag provided , when asked they said they don’t provide them , windows in our room did not keep all the noise out of the room . Carpets looked like they needed a shampoo

Hotel mondial has a beautiful interior and is about 15 minutes from Skanderberg Square. There are a variety of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We rented a car and the parking situation is very special. There are about 8 - 9 parking spaces in the public parking lot. We got a spot every day because two gentlemen helped to block the spots for the hotel guests. A really good service and a special thank you!!! All in all we were very satisfied.

The Mondial Hotel offered a good personalised service and a very nice architectural and social atmosphere. The facilities available were many and this enhanced the experience of the stay. I was particularly fond of the rooftop, where I spent my evenings drinking tea. The room was clean and the AC was effective. The breakfasts also had much to offer in the way of food choices and being a noble foodie, I do like my continental breakfasts. To conclude, it was a good stay for me and my wife.

I hired a car and parking at this hotel is quite bad. There are three spaces out the front of the hotel and perhaps two down the side but it is an incredibly tight squeeze as the street is thin. There are also guys who sit outside all day, of whom I'm actually unsure if they were part of the hotel or not, and they would help you park. They were not bad by any means, but I felt like I was being bothered for money almost since they're obviously there to expect tips. The other thing I recommend for the hotel is to carry out regular maintenance on the rooms. The shower drain was clearly partly blocked and just needed some simple clearing. I wouldn't let those two points stop you from going. It's still a nice hotel, but just keep in mind those points.

A lovely stay at the Mondial, prior to my mountain climbing trip. Very relaxing at the roof top pool and bar. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. There was a lovely selection for breakfast. A nice walk into the city centre (about a mile). Staff at the rooftop bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff were a little serious/cold and I had to ask a lot of questions for basic information rather than being told (ie where/when is breakfast).

The position was good for walking to sights, couldn’t be in a safer position right next door to police station. It was very clean, they upgraded us to a suite which was appreciated. Man on reception on arrival was ultra efficient, however that was spoilt by woman on reception during the day, she was a little curt, twice we had to remind her about a small problem we had. Restaurant was fine, however they didn’t appear to have a wine list, so price wise it was a guess on ordering, it would be nice to be able to view what was available. Desserts, menu choice was not fully available , always two or three things not available, so small choice. Breakfast was same every day, but fresh and always being topped up.

No hotel info folder in bedroom, it took us three nights to find they had a rooftop bar, however this appeared more for the local sports tv fans than guests when we visited. This May have been compensated by a scan code, but it’s not the same, I think this code must have also contained the room service menu, but for oldies it’s a bit to much tech. Towels in bathroom, the bath towel, was as little small, these days it needs to be a bath sheet. Room safe, not very big, to fit in a tablet or laptop is a no no.

Hotel has a great location in Tirana - everything was in walking distance - a lot of restaurants and bars nearby in the area The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - the hotel is family owned. The hotel has an older touch with all of the modern features - very nice interior and equipment. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The rooftop bar is great - sit in- or outdoor with a good view. We very much enjoyed the pool on the roof with a terrasse for the sunbeds - great location! We absolutely recommend the hotel when staying in Tirana!

Stayed in for one night. Everything was just perfect, spacious room, big and comfy beds, great breakfast buffet with a huge variety. It's very nice to have an own balcony, too. The pool at the roof was just what we needed at the hot summer day, right next to the bar. The staff was kind and professional. Very helpful with everything, from parking the car to bringing plates and cutlery to the room when asked for it. Great location. Will for sure book this place again.

Good breakfast, nice comfortable room, good shower, all staff were lovely.

Wifi was barely functional in the room, could hear traffic from outside, there was a big party one of the days with loud music that literally rattled the fixtures in our room all afternoon. I didn't realize when booking that this was a party hostel. Was disappointed that the crepes came out of the kitchen cold and stale, as though they were made the day before and kept in the fridge overnight. King bed was just 2 twins pushed together without even a topper to connect them.
