Such a warm and helpful service from the owner/reception when we arrived. Very accommodating with our bicycles and enabling us to have access to them very in the morning before checkout. Great location close to the city centre. Very clean and comfortable room. Perfect for a one night stay whist cycling in France. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

A faultless stay, especially for the price. Minutes walk from the train station and also the castle, the staff both in the afternoon of checking in and on the morning of departure were lovely. The bed in the room was comfortable and the TV in a good location. I was on the top floor with an excellent view over Angers from the rooftop window. The bathroom contained both a bath and shower, plus several towels immaculately presented. The wardrobe space was also generous. The curtains shut out the light superbly. The breakfast offered was varied, with cereals, fruit salad, a croissant, bread, unlimited hot drinks and juices and much more.

Very little - a couple of TV channels suffered from intermittent reception drops and the room was supported by a sort of trunk I banged immy head on when getting up in the dark, though that's my fault!

I was thoroughly impressed with how helpful, polite and patient the staff were with my every request. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the bathrooms were up-to-date and clean.

The breakfast buffet was a bit small, but still had French classics such as baguette and pain aux chocolat.

quiet and convinent corner near train station. the staffs are glad to help and solve problem . beware there is no microwave or kettle, you have to ask . cozy and warm deco in the room with nice view.

the wall is not well isolated for the noise next room , with earplug is ok.

The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, and they were extremely clean. The stuff were very friendly. The location was close to the train station. The property was very quite.

The elevator was very small. You can fit yourself and one large suitcase. The stairs were narrow and slightly steep.

It was an old place but unlike others that we stayed, it felt well put together .also they had a great secure place for our bikes

narrow steps up to 4th floor, elevator goes to 3rd. However, it's an old building, the view was great, and if your prepared it's not a problem.

We checked in a bit early and staff accommodated all the suitcases for us. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was very good and the hot croissants were an added plus. Lastly, it was so easy to walk to the train station from the hotel.

Staff were exceptional. The lady on reception looked after our bikes, the lady on breakfast found me gluten free toast and Madeleines without being asked. Very secure bike parking. Boutique hotel that looks more expensive than it is

The hotel is in a good location for the historic centre of Angers. on arrival the duty manager was friendly, helpful and spoke good English as was his relief the following day. The bijoux room was clean and tidy with a comfortable double bed with a toilet off the short hall from the entrance, the bedroom had a small shower room plus a sink. There are several good restaurants a short walk away beside the imposing 'castle', we had an excellent meal at one sitting on the terrace looking at the castle.

The hotel owners have obviously done a lot of work in making a small hotel as comfortable as possible, however first impression on arrival outside is that it looks a bit seedy in a quite run-down neighbourhood. Regarding the bedroom, it is quite small which little can be done about, the only negative aspect was as both myself and wife having poor French usage it would have been good to have an english speaking channel on the TV.
