I recently stayed at Casarsco Hotel in Lipari and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is a little out of the city center but still very close to reach it by foot. The view is amazing and outstanding. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and with a balcony with a lovely view of the sea. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with a nice selection of local pastries, fruits, and coffee. The design and vibe of the hotel are very relaxed, so you can really take your time and recharge your batteries.

Stunning location, exclusive access to the cristal clear sea. Oversized swimming pool with salt (sea) watering two jumping boards, relaxing atmosphere, helpful staff. The hotel is in a walking distance from the town (Lipari) and hundreds of restaurants, cafes and the harbour. The hotel provides a free shuttle service on arrival and on departure.

breakfast becomes problematic after the first group - heading for trekking - had their, and this is early in the morning. Some more fresh and local fruit, vegetables, cheese, honey would be very welcome, Overall the quality of the restaurant is not at the height of the hotel. Beds are all singles, just put together, mattresses are soft, pillows are too high. Overall it looks aged, and maintenance conditions are basic.

Amazing! We had a view to the sea and it was spectacular. Snorkeling is easy to do here. Just rent snorkel, goggles and fins at the dive shop for 5 euro each. We saw an octopus and many other fish. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. The decor is very retro and older aesthetic, but I liked it. Front desk is a helpful guide for booking excursions and answering questions.

Paying 10 euro each way for taxi. We walked (which is not far, but there is a serious hill to climb) but my parents could not so they paid for a ride each day. Can get expensive. The drinks are pricey here too. Nice to sip by the pool, but we went to town for cheaper beverages and food.

The location is stunning and don't forget to make use of the private beach to swim in the ocean... glorious. Pool was great too, excellent temperature and plenty of sun lounges to relax and eat/drink the day away. We were very appreciative of the upgrade to a room with a balcony so we could have our coffees taking in the lovely view. Air-conditioning was excellent (and very necessary). Shuttle pick up and drop off from the ferry port is a plus! Breakfast was varied and plentiful, a great way to start the day.

The hotel has plans for a massive and well-overdue upgrade, but I wonder how much the rooms will cost then... for the price we paid, the room was satisfactory but the bathroom felt like a dungeon - there was a very dim light and you couldn't really see in the shower. The meals at the restaurant were expensive and just ok.

Carrasco Hotel is a true gem. The location is stunning surrounded by nature, with a peaceful garden perfect for working or relaxing. Watching the sunrise from the pool was absolutely spectacular and the private access to the sea made it truly special . The team is warm, attentive & caring .The food was unbelievably tasty, and the whole experience felt both luxurious and authentic. Sicily’s energy is unique, and this place captures it perfectly. I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The crew of the hotel, especially the young guy and girl of reception in the morning are really pleasant, give us all the facilities to visit the island and good advice on where to visit and to rent a scooter.(Hope they are paid as they deserve to) The Hotel is cool, looks a little classic but really comfortable rooms(really clean), air-conditioning , and good services(pool,breakfast, renting vehicles). The only point to consider it is that it's not close to Lipari port( if you go with child's or have a problema to walk), anyway the hotel have a service of taxi in the port included ( recommend to tell them your time to arrive, and they look for you) so anyway its good choice, i would repeat it for sure. Also if you like to walk it's just 15 mins in an easy way, personally it isn't a problem.

It’s a fabulous setting with spectacular views over the sea. A beautiful place in its own right, it is being immaculately restored by its new owner. I can’t think of a single thing wrong with this hotel - good food, charming staff, clean room, excellent breakfast, lovely pool - we will definitely be back. It is a 15-minute walk from the town but well worth it - you can always take a taxi

Lovely hotel, great location overlooking the sea and only 10 mins walk from Lipari town centre. Very friendly and helpful staff particularly the ladies looking after the pool area. We had a wonderful stay there and I would highly recommend this hotel. Plentiful breakfast either indoors or on the lovely veranda overlooking the sea. Our room was large with sea views and a terrace with very good facilities. Plenty of places to visit on Lipari and surrounding islands. I would particularly recommend the boat trip to Stromboli. Ferry from Milazzo to Lipari is under an hour.

Everything was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Giuseppe went the extra mile in helping us book our outgoing ferry tickets when we were having problems with our cards. The room was gorgeous! Our view was amazing and I’m not sure why other reviewers have said it looked ‘tired’. The room was spotless and all furniture, although older in style, was in excellent condition. The bathroom was a little dark but nothing that bothered us. The pool area was gorgeous as was the breakfast area. Again, I had read complaints about breakfast but I found it to be an excellent selection of food and always plenty of it. We went snorkeling off the rocks below the hotel which was full of pretty fish and small coral. We absolutely adored our stay and would happily stay here again.

Only very minor things. We weren’t aware the water on Lipari wasn’t good to drink so it would have been helpful to be told that on check in. I think that the shuttle should just run back and forth every half hour all day as a complimentary service but we didn’t really mind the walk too much. It would be helpful to international guests if the phone number for the hotel was on WhatsApp for ease of communication.

Breakfast lacks of fresh local fruit, fresh local cheese, local marmalades and local honey, some poor organization. The kitchen is not at the height of the location. Small wardrobe, simple furnitures in the rooms, all of them are standard, with few exceptions. very dated furnitures and services, minimum level of comfort in soft beds, all double beds have two single mattresses.
