It looks a bit shabby (very authentic Broken Hill, corrugated iron construction) but is very well run. The room was small but clean comfortable and had its own split cycle air conditioner and smart TV. The bed was comfortable. The shared kitchen facilities were minimal but adequate. The small pool was perfect. It was a friendly place where you could chat with other guests and staff very easily. Great location on the edge of the CBD.

Would be good to have better wifi. And better instructions for the stove top. And an oven. But these are small issues that don't really attract from its homey vibe.

The property was located in the Main Street, therefore it was ridiculously close to my temporary place of work. Full washing facilities. Fully stocked Large kitchen to cook meals in so there is no need to eat out. The room I chose was an ensuite room with bar fridge and TV therefore didn’t have to share the bathroom or the shared lounge room facilities, in which were both clean and scarce of ppl most of the time.

Ensuite rooms are very compact and there are no cupboards to hang clothing. The property could do with a makeover in areas including the pool yard. To be picky, Outside garden area could use a little TLC.

The price was excellent, especially compared to later in the trip, location was perfect, and everything was in walking distance. The Lodge was the cleanest I've ever stayed in, congrats to the staff. The room was comfortable & cool with the aircon, and a good night rest after a long day's drive.

Only small problem was a night light is needed for the keypad entry, I struggled to see it in the poor light, and I don't know how to get my phone light on!! Techno dinosaur!

Despite the age of the Lodge being old and a bit worn in places, the communal equipped kitchen and TV room was a great way to meet others rather than being stuck in a motel room. The day manager was very helpful and organised.

Remember to book a room with an ensuite if you don’t like sharing unisex bathrooms - which were perfectly clean by the way.

The bed was so comfortable, the shower was powerful and good temp control. It was an overnighter after a tough day and the manager was fantastic with helping me and my family. My partner very worried called up and was told every bit of information they had on me incase something bad had happened whilst on the remote roads travelling into Broken Hill. Would stay again and cannot recommend enough.

The room we paid for was spacious and clean, it also had a washing machine and dryer, which we ended up using. It was in walking distance to the centre of town and even driving to what we wanted ro look at was not far. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Looks can be deceiving! Renovated bathroom and kitchen area! Includes washing machine and drier! Kitchen is full of everything you need. Full size fridge :) comfy couch. Didn't use any facilities outside our room but it had a pool!!

Toilet needs an upgrade, slow to get water into cistern but spoke to the lovely lady on the desk and she's getting someone in to look at it. Water flows out of shower even when careful not to.

It was so clean. 4 star style. Had everything you need. Safe and secure. Such a relaxing place after a huge drive. Staff were amazing and happy....which is often very hard to find on the road. Good work legends. Thanks for a great stay.

Self contained, room privately located, quiet and pool.

Lack of coordination between booking.com and accommodation provider, needed dish cloth not just dishwasher and 1 large sharp knife for slicing raw food for cooking and requires more seating for 4 guests.
