The staff here is incredible! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. After I accidentally left my jewelry container when we checked out, they took the time to search for it and mail it back to me--thank you, Rena and Vivian! On top of that, the hotel is very comfortable--cool vibe, nice rooms with lots of space, including a balcony--and they even offer complimentary morning coffee from the coffee bar in the lobby area. Charming old building with modern amenities; great place to stay.

The location is awesome. The rooms are great. You can walk to everything in town. It is across the street from the outdoor stage venue with bands every Wednesday through the summer.

Coffee is not available for guests at the coffee shop until 7 am. There are no options for in room coffee availability. There is a disconnect between 3rd party booking and the hotel.

Location is perfect for exploring all areas to the north/south/west of Rapid City. Sturgis was very friendly with good places to eat and enjoy adult beverages. My room at The Hotel Sturgis was everything I needed for my stay. A clean room, comfy bed and pillows and a nice bathroom. The staff was very accommodating for late arrival and early departure. They even stepped up to print a document I needed for work.

Two good beds in the room was awesome. Clean, The atmosphere for being a historic building was good.

There was not full access to coffee 24 hours a day. We're in Sturgis for a funeral and I just really wanted coffee. There's room in the bathrooms to put a small little personal coffee pot to get you through the wee hours of the morning.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Location and parking couldn’t be better. Historic building completely upgraded. Excellent coffee shop in lobby. Room with 3 beds was a bonus. Extra touches like rags to clean motorcycles.

Wouldn’t change a thing.

I loved the atmosphere of the place. The coffee shop was so cute and the girls working were so sweet. They were very helpful when I couldn't figure out my air conditioning/heater.

Just the perfect hotel: clean, modern yet rustic, great coffee, wonderful staff, even extra beds in the lofts. And the location is impeccable with eveyrhting you need in walking distance, live concert and bike race at 6 pm every Wednesday that you can enjoy from right from hotel balcony or bench upfront or walk 50 feet across the street to the stage. Sturgis surprised us as well - smaller than Spearfish or Rapid City but big enough that everything is here making it much better to relax and unwind without having to drive 30 mins to a store or food.

This is a beautiful hotel; the renovation is gorgeous! There's a coffee bar in the registration area :-) They make their own mocha and pumpkin spice syrups - bonus! Michaela was our front desk representative and barista. She had great information about the local area and makes a mean espresso!

Great remodel of an older building. Loved that they kept the charm and details of the older building but modernized it. Very clean and friendly employees. Definitely will stay there again.

We had no problems with parking because we weren’t there at a really busy time, but parking was limited to only 6 spaces reserved out back then had to park on the main streets around the hotel. During busy times this could be very hard to find a parking spot on busy streets.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of town, directly across the street from a wonderful bar/restaurant. The rooms are great (I love the 2 levels, loft) and huge windows. Every thing about this place is fabulous! I got "stuck" here due to a snowstorm and had to spend 3 nights instead of 1 and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
