The only thing we would’ve appreciated was a pool, but the hot tub worked just fine too! Can’t wait for the restaurants to open back up too.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! The hot tub was exceptional! When my TV remote was giving me trouble, Jonah from the front desk came down to check it and as it turns out, it was just really sensitive. I was pushing too hard on the buttons causing them to duplicate with each press. An easy fix and I was impressed that Jonah would take the time to check on it!

The hotel advertised a restaurant which turned out to be under renovation by the new owners, so was inaccessible. When that is up and running, it will make the hotel so much better.

Basically clean and satisfactory space. Excellent view of the gulch creek, nice sound for sleeping. Convenient if you are a slot machine aficionado!

No breakfast provided. Dining room for breakfast was not identified at arrival and looked like new staff and underutilized. Upon arrival, not sure where to enter for check in, need to walk thru the casino for front desk. Not identified well. One room A/C was in need of filter cleaning, very dusty emission into the room; no one came to fix. A little to far from downtown to walk.

Nice location, was actually pretty quiet even though it was a very busy weekend and the hotel was full. Love the beautiful creek running through the back of the property. It was very peaceful to be able to have the window open a little and fall asleep to the sound of the creek right outside it. Enjoyed being able to visit the casino right down the hall no matter what time it was. Also, nice bonus that the trolley comes right to you to take you downtown so we could leave the car at the hotel, have a few drinks while away, and not have to worry about getting back. We had a great getaway weekend and will definitely be back again.

The room was spacious, everything was clean and in working order. The room was on the back of the building, so our view was of a little creek. Even though the room was next to the elevator, we didn't hear much noise, neither from the casino nor from other guests. Especially considering the price, this is the best value for a room ever.

The furniture was a bit dated and you have to ignore (or like) a casino downstairs. If none of these things bother you, this is my recommendation in Deadwood

Nice place to stay while in Deadwood. It's a mile from downtown but a trolley bus picks up at the lobby and takes you downtown for $2.00. A nice Boston Pizza sports bar and restaurant on site with great staff and good food. Casino is on site.

The reason the staff at the hotel got a less then stellar review is because the hotel looked to be short staffed and it showed. At one point there was a line up of people waiting to check in and no staff around the check in desk. We gave up waiting to buy some snacks.This is a trend we have been noticing on our road trip this year staying in different states. If it's a lack of people available to work you can't hold it against the hotel. The staff at the restaurant were literally running trying to get orders done.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. It was evident that everyone on the team truly cared about ensuring guests had a memorable experience. One staff member who particularly stood out was Scott, who oversees the gaming area. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Despite being from a small town and not very familiar with gaming facilities, Scott patiently guided us through everything and even helped us participate in some ongoing contests. What truly impressed us was when Scott thought my dad (who's 93!) had won a prize in one of the contests. He made the effort to seek us out and ensure we didn't miss out on claiming it. It's this level of attentiveness and care that sets this hotel apart. The location of the hotel, especially the area out back with its stunning view, was a highlight of our stay. It provided the perfect backdrop for some memorable photos, and we found ourselves spending many relaxing moments there. Although we explored a few other gaming places in the area, we always found ourselves returning to the hotel. The atmosphere was vibrant, the locals friendly, and the drinks were top-notch. It was a true pleasure to unwind and connect with both fellow travelers and the community. In summary, if you're looking for a hotel with exceptional staff, fantastic amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. A heartfelt thank you to Scott and the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to visit again!

The gaming variety! Very friendly and oustanding staff! Very tentative to your beverage needs, and caring Between the staff members and the friendly guest we made alot of freinds! The food!!! Boston's was so amazing and very convenient! The staff is very efficient and you can tell they care about what they are putting out and are proud of there job! Also the smoking lounge was so warm and comfy in the negative degree weather!

I wish there was a bigger hot tub. Kinda alot of space for a small tub.

Very quiet at night. Having a frig and microwave important for us.

Bathroom door warped so did not shut. Shower head dripped and bounced onto floor making floor constantly wet. Was not informed that housekeeping only available upon request. When they did come, did not give us clean hand towels. Clerk at front desk was terrific. Need a restaurant.

Bed was awesome, housekeeping & grounds-keepers VERY polite and helpful. Casino on site

The worst part was false advertising they DO NOT have a bakery or full restaurant as it says on their website, just a dozen (good) Doughnuts for the entire complex and a short bar menu, but bar food was good. Odd smell in the halls and rooms, trying to be covered with febreeze.
