great bar and terrace. nice breakfast, but the servers were not very reactiv. room was good, beds also. fantastic bath. tub filled up in 3 minutes..

People outside on the parking were very loud about midnight. we had to leave the windows open, because no airco. we booked a room for three adults. a double bed, single bed and a sofabed. but it seems you have to be under 12 to have a right for a sofabed. did not see that on booking.... so I had to share the double bed (about 160 cm) with my sister.

I had a wonderful breakfast I had fruit to start with and finished with an excellent fry there was a lot of choice from cereals to pastries staff very friendly and helpful bedrooms were warm and clean with lovely furniture and bedding I slept really well I would highly recommend

I booked in to a single room and paid the same price as the couple who had also stayed which I thought was abit unfair

The staff were amazing! Patrick was on the desk when I arrived. I had not planned to stay but due to bus cancellations while I was on the bus to Letterkenny I had to book somewhere to stay in Omagh for the night. Patrick was so helpful and kind. Abbie was on the desk in the morning and helped me find where to go for breakfast and gave me advice on how to get back to the bus station and helped me in between times. My stressful situation of not being able to get home became stress free thanks to the silver birch hotel. Thank you!

Everything was great, no complaints.

Room was quite spacious, and well set up. Choice of breakfast foods was better than expected.

My wife thought that fried eggs were overcooked. And that was really the extent of our problems/complaints :-) We originally hoped for a better price, but considering that we booked on short notice and at peak time one could argue that it was fair.

Good location within easy walking distance to omagh town centre and good for American folk park and Abingdon collection visits by car. Warm welcome on arrival and friendly staff throughout our stay in all areas of the hotel. Enjoyed a nice evening meal in the restaurant, reasonably priced.

Small thing was cleaners vacuuming in the breakfast room in the middle of service (albeit at the other end of the dining area and then stepping out onto a freshly mopped tiled floor when leaving after breakfast (wet floor sign to warn would have been appreciated if not legally required) elderly guest came very close to slipping on the surface which could have ended with a nasty result.

Central location. Excellent facilities in the hotel. Great choice of bars, lounges and nice menu. Everything you would expect from an international high standard hotel however, this hotel has taken hospitality to a different level with probably its greatest asset - the staff. I was born and grew up in Omagh but left over 35 years ago. I’ve stayed in hotels all across the globe but this experience has been a different level. The Silverbirch Hotel (and its amazing staff) could really set a standard that hotels across the world should aspire to.

Very little could have been improved but if I were to be pedantic, a little bit of flaking paint on the wall in our bedroom and no aircon, which meant that our open windows allowed wasps into our room. I’m terrified of wasps! One other consideration would be, that although the breakfast was superb and met my needs, it is rather limited inasmuch as it may not appeal to all cultures. No real obvious options for vegan, halal, kosher etc.

We stayed in one of the suites, lovely room, comfortable bed, good facilities. Excellent parking, staff were efficient and friendly.

Unfortunately there was no heating in the room, when I enquired I was told that the hotel policy is not to turn the heating on until 5.30pm ! It was very cold I complained and the staff gave me a small heater which was great.

Very comfortable bed and bedding. Room facilities are good if a little old fashion. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was only staying due to a family funeral, would possibly stay again in other circumstances.

Could hear every vehicle passing all night so limited sleep. For the price for a single person the room is a little out dated and expensive.

From the very moment you walked in you were treated with a very warm welcome, the hotel was beautiful and the cleanliness outstanding. My room was very spacious and clean, they had two bars and a good sized restaurant with a fair menu, the food was outstanding and the service the same Great selection for breakfast. Overall I couldn't have asked for better and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

There wasn't anything to dislike I'm sorry, I stand by my comments above and would definitely stay there again.

I liked everything about this hotel. From the welcoming staff on reception,very helpful,lots of information and friendly. I definitely would recommend this hotel and will be planning a return visit. A short walk into town if you need to. Great dinner and breakfast.
