Lovely drive up to the main hotel/castle. Very romantic and well kept. We attended our friends wedding. The whole venue as a whole was fantastic. Rooms massive and spotless throughout. We used the spa the next day before we left. Again very clean and tidy , plenty of pools and other areas to relax.

Hotel staff were very helpful and kind throughout. Staff were extra helpful getting us an early check in before the wedding started to get ready. The countryside is beautiful along with the various walks. We sat outside before the wedding for drinks and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely weather made the venue even better.

Picturesque setting, large room that was clean and fresh. Wedding venue and catering was of a high standard. Restaurant food seemed high quality and locally sourced.

The service in the restaurant was slow and disjointed, however the food was good enough to compensate. The breakfast was poor and the hot food pretty dry. The TV in the room seemed a bit dated and didn't have access to any streaming apps. We were informed upon arrival that we had access to the spa included, however couldn't see this anywhere on the booking information so didn't come prepared.

Gorgeous setting, beautiful modern, clean and well equipped rooms, really enjoyed the spa and the food was delicious ( lunch, dinner and breakfast).

In the late morning we were looking for a spot to sit and relax with coffee and the papers and look at the views but there was nowhere. The bar was closed, the restaurant closed til lunch, the living areas only available for afternoon tea and only spot was a booth in the reception area. Would be lovely to have somewhere to sit and relax!

Stayed there for a conference recently. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a place where the staff were as nice and friendly. They really went out of their way to accommodate guests. The thermal spas and treents are work doing. Very chilled experience. The food was amazing. It was so good that I had to bring some with me. There is an onsite Farm store where you can buy both vegetable & Meat that is produced onsite. The head butcher of the estate also spent time showing me how he cures different types of meat. The onsite walks are amazing, the entire stay was very impressive.

Staff were attentive and informative. The walled garden rooms were exceptionally comfortable. Great choice at Breakfast. As you would expect by a 5 star hotel.

Wedding party could have been all housed in one location in dining area. Other guests were scattered. Felt overwhelming at times.

The breakfast choice was good although after several days it had very much a sameness to it. Perhaps one choice in the buffet that is different for each day would be nice.

The chemicals in the hydro pools were quite strong and certainly on one day uncomfortable to the eyes in the lap pool. Given the hotel is a supporter of health and green ideals perhaps the hotel could investigate changing to salt water as a means of chlorination. Must better for the skin and the environment.

Lovely room and large room. Comfortable bed. Surroundings stunning. Buggies up and down the hillside for less mobile guests is a nice touch.

Too warm. Room was way too warm and there was no air con to cool it down. Our room had no windows so couldn't leave a window open to let the cool air inside staying on the ground floor with a patio door which we did not want to leave open. There was a small fan left in the room which did help a bit but not ideal.

So many things. Absolutely beautiful location. Staff went above and beyond and seemed to love the work they were doing. Aaron was the best bartender we have ever had, the bar going forward for our drink expectations is very high. He also gave us great recommendations for points of interest. Katie was amazing at the front desk and very helpful with points of interest as well! Cristian made sure to check in about our stay and was an absolute delight to talk to about everything. Whatever the team there is doing to create a great environment to stay and work at needs to continue!

Food in main restaurant was excellent the Bar food could have been better we were given a small menu as we had booked one night with Bar food and one in main restaurant would have paid extra for a better menu choice but wasn't offed this and barman ask me to wait while he washed glasses when I ordered drinks Customer Service could be better.

This is an exceptional property. Everything has been thought through with great care and a real commitment to quality.. The rooms are are beautiful with views of the Hills and forests nearby. The building is unique and the walking trails, which surround the site are magnificent..
