ive rented room with balcony, in fairness theres no view from balconies at all but its useful for smokers. room was clean and tidy. i heard staff complaining on shifts not being covered and because of that there was no room service available. wine that costs $9 in tesco cost around 35 quid in hotel, however overall experience is very good and all staff is very friendly and happy to help. i'd say that this hotel is safe option, whatever goes wrong you wont be dissapointed. i loved room design and the carpet :D
im sorry i havent got chance to try the food they serve. no room service available

A Wonderful Stay! We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely lovely—peaceful and scenic. Our bedroom had clearly been recently refurbished and was both stylish and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfasts were a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. The overall decor of the hotel is tasteful and charming, with a lovely blend of modern comfort and character. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
If we had to mention anything, the bedroom was a little too warm at times, and the pool water appeared a bit cloudy despite the swimming hat policy. But honestly, these are minor points—we had a wonderful stay overall!

A friend recommended this hotel to us, as we were returning from a trip to Scotland. It was a wonderful surprise to get such a beautiful hotel with fabulous gardens & such courteous staff. It was also great value for money. It is located conveniently close to Dublin yet far enough from the extreme traffic & noise of the city. There are also great leisure facilities, such as swimming pool, gym & of course, golf. The bar was elegant & we enjoyed a lovely meal there. Breakfast was second to none, with a great choice & lovely staff. Our room was huge with a beautifully designed bathroom & lovely balcony overlooking the wonderful gardens. There were lovely areas where one could sit & enjoy the view of the gardens & perhaps read a book without going outside. We will definitely stay there again.
What could there be not to like. Everything was great.

From beginning of when we checked in until we left this was like a 4+ star hotel. We had chosen a Superior room with a balconey because it was a special occasion for us. Staff were very friendly and courteous. A wide variety of food and drinks were available in both the bar and the restaurant. The grounds were amazing, so relaxing. Tried to locate the Dolmen although after walking for almost 30 minutes we gave up. It could be better signposted.
Walking to the Dolmen needs better signposting. Breakfast was a bit disorganized. 4 different people took our order for poached eggs. It took almost 30 minutes to get them, they were worth it.

Stunning hotel and gardens. The staff were very friendly and our double room was huge! We had a walk in shower and a bath. The toiletries are amazing and are available to buy in the leisure centre downstairs. We ate in the terrace bar and our food was delicious. I had pre booked the table before travelling. As it was a Saturday night they had a singer on. He was really good. Irish type music mostly. Following check out we had a walk around the beautiful grounds. It’s easy to see why weddings are so popular here. The roses are stunning!!
Everything was really good. Maybe one thing that we didn’t really like is how spread out it was. From the lift to our room was a bit of a trek. There seems to be a lot of empty spaces which could maybe be put to use. A spa would be fantastic here, the pool etc is lovely but a massage treatment would be so nice.

Fabulous stay!! A beautiful property. Our room was huge, it was so lovely to be able to rest, spread out and open our bags easily. We loved having a bath and enjoyed the space and decor of the room. The resort itself is away from the town, costing us about 15 Euros in a taxi to get into town and then another 15 Euros to come back. We decided after that to stay in the hotel and use the facilities there. We were very surprised with the prices of beer and wine in the hotel, which were pretty similar to the pubs. We enjoyed a few evenings in the bar and ate the soup and chicken wings - which were great. Breakfast was amazing too! The staff were so lovely, Paula in the bar, Jacqueline and Emily in the restaurant, as well as Tommy and Natalia. Everyone was so very friendly and we had a lot of fun while we were there. We had just finished a 3 week drive around Ireland and Northern Ireland, and were looking for somewhere to fill in 3 nights before heading back to Dublin. Very good value for money - with lovely walking opportunities as well as the chance for a steam, spa and swim in the resort.
Can't think of a thing.

Hello , We had the afters of our wedding here and i have to say we were treated like Royalty , the food was outstanding at a very reasonable price too especially for the size of the portions. We first meet Paula in the bar who professionally organised everything but have to say we couldn't fault any member of staff , from the team in reception the bar the restaurant to the lady cleaning the room , all pure professionals , we would strongly recommend the Hotel and looking forward to our next stay. Thanks a Mill Guys, King Regards , Ger & Svitlana

Standard nice hotel. Probably used to be a beautiful old house but now with a modern, functional extension built on at the back. Pity. However, all very clean and the family room was a decent size. A little too hot at night, but we managed to open a window. Great big buffet breakfast with large selection of pastries, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, ham and cheese and cooked breakfast. Very friendly staff. We didn't avail of the leisure centre in the end, but it looked good. Fascinating ancient dolmen/portal tomb on the grounds that is definitely worth a visit.

Loved the location and beautiful grounds.
Unfortunately our room had no hot water from 5pm to 7.20pm which was very disappointing as we had booked a room with a bath especially.. when we eventually got hot water it was a rush to get washed and down for dinner. Staff member Kaill was very good about it and explained it was due to high demand in the swimming pool and kindly gave us a free drink from the bar. Also we would have liked a courtesy email maybe a week before to ask us if we would like to book the restaurant for dinner .. ?? it was very busy and we nearly didn’t get a booking !

What's not to like, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the facilities are super, the swimming pool is a nice temperature and not too heavily chlorinated, the sauna is spacious and heavenly after a swim, steam room also lovely. The jacuzzi is great but more chlorinated but so good. The outdoor hot tub is bliss. As regards the hotel itself, the bedroom we had was lovely, the bed was Soo comfy and we had proper mugs for tea and coffee instead of the standard cream cups and saucers. The bar food was delicious, generous portions and value for money and the hotel itself was so lovely. There's a lovely walked garden to walk around and a 10 minute walk takes you out to the Proleek Dolmen. Worth seeing..for golf lovers there's an 18 hole golf course and overall a wonderful wonderful venue. Must give Luke a mention, once you get past his shy exterior he is a lovely lovely lad. A great asset to the staff. He can't do enough for you and he's such a gentle lovely person..
Very little not to like. The chips were rather greasy, my friend was given a cup with lipstick on it which my partner spotted as it was put down and it was taken away and a fresh cup brought out but no apology. Small this in a bigger picture.
