We were visiting Dundalk for a concert. The hotel surprised us positively. Though the outside is little remarkable, inside the rooms are nice and comfortable. Super beds, slept very well. On the 4th floor not bothered by street noise (on a tuesday). The staff was so nice and welcoming and helped us with dinner reservations. The breakfast buffet is not extensive but it included an ordered, freshly made breakfast which was above expected and delicious . We did not come to Dundalk for the sights, but found the little museum entertaining.

Easy to find, staff friendly and helpful, the room had a great view of St Patrick's church looks stunning when lit at night (sorry no pictures). We dined in the evening the bar was lively but well staffed food was well presented and about on par price-wise with many other hotels I've eaten in within Ireland.

I really cant complain Ireland on a Sunday night live entertainment till late that I was warned about in advance (message through Booking app so I also got an email notification) the room even came with earplugs that really is a tough one to beat. The Imperial does go the extra mile to keep the customer happy.

The facility was very clean and the staff were wonderful, especially Rosie at the front desk, she was super exceptional, and the restaurant & bar staff, all great. The food was also great!

The rooms were nothing near soundproof. Facility being at the city centre, you could hear every vehicle and activity on the streets, and every whisper in the corridor. There's also this strange green light in the rooms when all the switches are off. Does make a good night melatonin stimulated goodnight sleep and rejuvenation. However, in all, was a very good stay.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and would do anything for you, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well decorated and the beds are very comfy. Breakfast was included in the price and the food was delicious, with plenty of choice. We had dinner in the bar on the Sunday and the service and food were second to none. The staff are extremely well trained. Well done to all at Hotel Imperial for making our stay so nice!!!

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is central and ideal for exploring Dundalk, (though a bit of a trek from the railway). As it is uphill I took a taxi to return to the station. My room was very comfy. Nice bar attached to the hotel.

The TV. The system appeared to have a mind of its own. One would be watching a channel and then it was as if someone else had taken control and the channel changed. I gave up trying to watch.

It was easy to get to. Parking was close by in their carpark which was free. Room was excellent . Made good use of cold water on 3rd floor.

Not complaining but when we came down for breakfast, we weren’t long sat down when we were asked what fry or breakfast we wanted and we barely had time to finish our yogurt/cereal when hot breakfast was brought to the table. Perhaps a longer time from getting tea until hot breakfast being delivered.

Breakfast was fab. Thought the hotel was going to be a little bit more modern for the price we paid though but was still nice. Bar staff seemed reluctant to want an order placed for cocktails as he’d cleaned up. It wasn’t that near closing time but he commented on the fact twice and it’s not like they were cheap either!. There was only one other person in the bar so not like it was busy! Lady on reception was super helpful and food was fab. We would stay again but I think I’ll bring my own drinks 😂

Central location to the busy town including pubs + clubs + shops. Friendly hotel. Rooms lovely. The beds are so comfortable. Extra King Size. Additional thoutful things in the room - Toothbrush with small tube of toothpaste; hair caps, iron + ironing board in rooms on floor 4; snore ear defenders. Pleasant room. Lively pub, club with entertainment. Roof pub - there was a private function going on, so we never saw this, but it's a great idea.

Soft pillows - too soft for me, but some ppl may like them. A power shower would make it super special, but the shower there is ok.

Hotel public areas and room was nicely decorated, room was comfortable, staff nice and pleasant, breakfast was great in the morning. Hotel was quiet even though room was to the front.location was great being in the center of Dundalk. Would happily stay here again if I needed to.

There is a coffee machine in the room but there were no pods, I checked the coffee machine to see if there was a pod in it but someone had placed a milk container in it. Would have liked to have more power in the shower.

Easy to find. Car park right next to it. Lovely greeting and help from Shantelle at front desk. Room was very modern and plenty of space (loved the big shelf in bathroom). Central location and plenty of shops around - short walk to everything! Very clean and modern. We’re in lounge in the evening - bar staff were lovely and friendly. Loved the big windows so you could see everything. Dessert was amazing. Breakfast - we had the mini Irish breakfast (nothing mini about it lol) and it was delicious
