Staying at Innisfree House was a fabulous experience. On arrival the host was warm and welcoming and made time to help in every way possible. The house has been decorated in keeping with the period property and is full of old world charm . The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. There is a lovely back garden. if ever I am in this area again , I will definitely call back.

The room was welcoming and very comfortable. The sofas add an extra layer of comfort. It was quiet and cozy and I had two restful nights of sleep. Breakfast was delicious and the staff really polite and helpful. The Edwardian decorations added that extra touch and the fireplace in the afternoon was the cherry on top!

There was just one thing that I felt could be improved and that is the heating in the bathroom. Mine was a bit cold, but it was not significant enough, so I did not say anything to the owner.

The place is very museum-like, little treasures everywhere. It smells very nice on the hallway. The whole place is sparkling clean and the staff very nice. Also location is very close to train station and 15 min walk to town center. We had breakfast booked, and menu was very diverse (could choose from a menu of irish breakfast, french toast, eggs, porrodge etc), the kitchen staff more than nice and acomodating.

The bed was soft and squeaky. The food itself was not very good, with sausages burned and the french toast, we only got one slice per portion and it was okish.

Great for a b and b. Period furnishing and a very comfortable bed that outmatched most 4 star hotels I’ve been to. Friendly and helpful staff along with a wonderful breakfast, once again rivalling a 4 star plus hotel. Own key negating restrictions to late entry at night.

A inter room door became a source of sound pollution at 5am when two drunk eejits next door decided to have a talk it out Dr Phil session. That closed and locked door was the only source of sound pollution. I’ve been in 4-5 star hotels where the noise pollution is the length of the wall but these folks have only a door to proof. An insulting board inter door would make a huge difference.

Very friendly host. Breakfast had a good choice. Parking outside is handy.

Bathrooms could do with a deeper clean. They weren't dirty, but the seals and grout need some attention. It's an old house, so gaps in the door let in light from the hallway, and it was very noisy from hearing people outside or moving around in the room above. We found it quite expensive compared to other locations nearby (where family was staying so we could see the comparison)

The room was so well decorated in the Victorian style. The entire house is so beautifully decorated in this time period. The included breakfast was top notch. There is a menu to choose from but I stuck with porridge, fruit and yogurt as the meal was so filling. Coffee, tea, and juice as well. Very close to the train station as well as the city. We walked everywhere.

The room was very cold and the wind came right through the windows. I did find a heater the morning we left ! The blankets were heavy and helped a lot.

We come here often as we find it very reliable, it is always immaculately clean and the breakfast is good. It is nicely situated near but not in the town centre; so, quite quiet.

We have few issues with this property. The room we had this time (5) has a fairly weak shower. In terms of the breakfast, some nicer bread would be an advantage!

The property is in a great position just on the edge of town. Near to the station and a ten minute walk into the centre. Kennedy’s bar, opposite the railway station offers great food and drinks and is well worth visiting. The Hallway, lounge and dining room downstairs in the property are beautifully furnished and a real feast for the eyes. Breakfast was well made and tasty, though I was disappointed not to have wheaten bread with my Irish breakfast. My single room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Leaving the bathroom door ajar allowed good cross ventilation between the windows in the bedroom and the bathroom, considering the hot weather we had this helped me to sleep.

The bedroom does not reflect the rooms downstairs in any way. It was very plain and had a dressing table with the mirror missing. The laminate floor crackled as you walked on it and the bathroom looked very worn and in need of rejuvenating. That said, it was perfectly functional and didn’t worry me too much. I like to give an honest review but don’t really want to sound critical as I would be very happy to return here. This is my third visit so far.

A very warm welcome! Lovely and authentic decor. Comfortable bed. Outstanding breakfast in breathtaking breakfast room. My TV stopped working but staff came to fix it immediately.

Could hear room next door but was quiet at night. It was a bit cold but extra heater in room. Water in shower was cold in morning but warm again a little later. Bathroom was also a little cold but then again it's a Georgian house. TV fixed a bit high. I had to look up all the time.

Innisfree is a lovely property, we have stayed there several times over the years and feels like a 'home from home'. The whole property is exceptionally clean. The rooms are very comfortable, decorated in a very pretty Edwardian style. The breakfast is very good quality. Innisfree is a very welcoming place to stay, the owner and staff are very friendly and incredibly efficient. This B&B is highly recommended, best in the town.
