It would have been nice to have a pool or bath but we were aware of this on booking and it is reflected in the price.Childrens play room would be a nice addition Mostly, for us, having no air conditioning was a problem Itvwas difficult to sleep and was very warn despite the window been open There was a fan provided but it provided very little help Despite this i would book again maby during the winter months

The hotel staff are always so friendly and accommodating, and we really love staying here. It’s consistently clean and welcoming. The breakfast area offers a great variety with beautiful setups, and we enjoyed a relaxing cup of tea in the lovely outdoor area afterwards.

We’ve stayed here several times and have always had a lovely experience. However, during our most recent visit, the room lacked air conditioning, and it was quite warm, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, there were no basic toiletries provided, such as a shower cap or bar of soap. The shower tray also wasn’t in the best condition — it appeared that a non-slip mat had been partially removed, which affected the overall appearance.

We arrived back at the hotel around 2am and couldn't get in. We all had our swipe cards but they wouldn't work. We rang reception but no one answered. We were outside for 10 minutes until a guest going out for a cigarette let us in. As we walked in a staff member was coming back to reception. When we explained what had happened he was a bit defensive, he seemed under pressure and had been dealing with something else in the hotel at the time. This could have been quite a dangerous situation if one of us had been on our own. Please review your security/reception protocols for night time. Otherwise a lovely stay, thanks.

Excellent Room (junior suite), beautifully furnished and impeccably cleaned. Check in was swift with minimum fuss. Very vibrant atmosphere with friendly bar staff.

Very little to be dissatisfied with however, the extensive in room dining menu had no time indicating when the service stopped. Tried to call front desk a number of times but no answer on any occasion resulting in a number of unnecessary trips from the room. This included breakfast booking cards, no writing materials and request for cutlery. I was delayed preparing to check out and was politely and correctly prompted by front desk. The cleaning staff member (a young woman) however that alerted me at the room door was extremely rude.

The room was very spacious and the hotel was very clean, the bar was a lovely layout with a lovely outside area, the breakfast one morning was nice and self service, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didnt sleep very well unfortunately and we also had very noisy neighbours wit a screaming toddler, we have a child ourselves so we are not unreasonable, we understand this is out of your hands however more singing the next morning at the top of their lungs at 9am, apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but feel we paid for a stay with no sleep, we asked for a quiet room and the room we got was above the outside area of the bar and right beside the lifts so we heard everyone coming and going unfortunately.

The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely was lovely,but only a view of the carpark. Very comfortable bed.

Restaurant was a little tired and food disappointing. Needs a menu update, the actual restaurant is a spacious area which was busy with families. We had an early start and we’re a bit disappointed to find breakfast wasn’t served for another hour.with hindsight we probably have mentioned this at check in. Check out staff couldn’t be bothered.

We stayed as we had doctors appointment at the local surgery, it would not be our first choice as it is a taxi ride to anywhere else, restaurants, town centre etc however the room was lovely, we had dinner in the bar which was very good and the reception staff are always friendly

Unfortunately a trend in Dundalk and almost everywhere vastly overpriced drinks at the bar, bar staff friendly but need training. We dont get much time off very often during the week and fancied a drink the next day at lunch, the gas was gone in the pumps, not their fault, but we were left sitting for some time and having to go up and enquire. When I went up and said bottles would do I was handed two filthy glasses and I had to point them out, I said twice just a little ice thanks, received two pint glasses full of ice as the lady was distracted as she was speaking with her colleague while serving, just little things but they make an impression

Everything was fantastic. The staff, the location, food, comfort, spacious room. The only problem I would say, and this is really not a big problem, was there was no air conditioning in my room. The room was very hot, which was good as it was cold outside, but I had to open the window and sleep with it open. The road noise was a little load as I was on the side of the hotel nearest the main road. Also the Wi-Fi cut out from time to time, not a major issue as it would come back after 5 min or so. Overall, a great hotel and I will certainly visit again.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were great, loved that they had smart tv's.

I didn't like how a lot of the cars parked in the disabled parking, weren't disability badge holders and shouldn't have been allowed to park there. Being a wheelchair user I had to park all the way over in the supervalu car park which made it difficult with transporting my luggage. I feel like this should be managed better. Also needs to be vegan options for breakfast.

We attended as part of our daughters communion, from the entertainment keeping all the children occupied, to the icecream van which was a massive hit and the kids disco, the food was outstanding and we would highly recommend, the property and staff all excellent and couldn’t do anymore for you, we will highly recommend to everyone, thank you for giving us the amazing day and memories for our daughters communion.
