Accessible to the whole village. Able to get dropped off and picked up from property with no issues. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stairs which were a little tough for elderly family member. But seats at top in a beautiful rest area, which helped. Our room was very spacious and met all our needs. Mattress superb. Minis supplied and towels. Plus tea/coffee set used. There’s a beautiful smokers/outside area near our room, that we enjoyed. Despite just booking a room/twin bed only, We had both breakfast and lunch in the restaurant the next day (it was recommended by other eateries in the village which is some recommendation indeed 🥰) the portions are generous in size. And a great range. We had a lovely overnight stay in room 6. The staff recognised MIL mobility issues and were very helpful and patient so she didn’t feel rushed. Every where was clean and fresh. The staff very attentive.
Stairs were a bit tough for my mother in law. But my fault for not considering her mobility issues on the booking.

Location is perfect for this beautiful colourful village. Some lovely walks & historic buildings. In addition there are a few bars with plenty of character & charm. The hotel is lovely & the restaurant serves some first class food, absolutely delicious with a great selection for all food types. The staff were friendly, kind & very helpful. We had a standard double room which was fine for our one night stay. We were also fortunate to park right outside the hotel, however there are a couple of car parks a few minutes walk from hotel too.
Nothing to dislike at all.

Great location. Right in the centre of Carlingford. Free car parking close by. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Great breakfast. Had an evening meal on our first night & couldn't fault it. Exceptionally clean room.
Stayed in room 10. There was a noise which sounded like a heating system or air conditioning system close by. It didn't bother us during the day as we weren't in our room but at night I found it hard to get over to sleep.

Staff were very friendly and efficient.
When we were checking out girl said we owed for breakfast even though we paid 170euro. She said that on the system it said we booked Room only. I had rang to book it so definitely understood that breakfast was included . (Other family members had paid 170 for Bed and Breakfast ). Receptionist was really understanding and checked with manager . He was happy to leave payment as it was. Thank you. Mary & John O Connor.

In the heart of the village. Easy walking to the shore and Greenway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly staff. Brekkie was not included and did not start until 0900 but there was a wee shop around the corner open early.
Parking was not he street and might get difficult during busy times but I had not problem. Rooms were upstairs with no lift. Not an issue for me but might be if travelling with others.

I started too early for breakfast on a couple of days but had a superb breakfast on final day served by very pleasant member of staff who had come in early. All staff friendly, location great, had my evening meal in hotel twice - very good both times.
Room a bit small but comfortable enough Perhaps breakfast could be served earlier, though when requested this happened.

We stayed here as friends were getting married in the Four Seasons around the corner. So so clean, warm and modern. Staff were so friendly. The SHOWER 🤤 we stayed in room 10 and you could increase the pressure of the water - HEAVEN. Hotel is fabulous for the cost, really good value for money. Breakfast was included in our rate, but we would have bought anyway it was beautiful. Already looking forward to returning!
Nada. Couldn’t fault it.

It felt like I'd stepped back in time in this place, in a good way! The room was fine, nothing exciting, but I loved the pub/restaurant and various areas to hang out in and relax. The hotel ambience was relaxing, inviting. I expected Yeats to walk in at any moment. There's a little courtyard we didn't discover til the day we were leaving. Be sure to check that out! Staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming. It's a lovely location in the centre of what I'd call a small town with a village feel. I wish we'd booked a longer stay. There are interesting sites to visit close by. I enjoyed the shops around the hotel. Of all the places I visited in my 3 weeks in Ireland, this was one of the few I'd pick to live in if I had the desire to move!
The room was very basic which isn't a bad thing if you just want a comfy bed for the night. It had the necessities. The window provided some bright natural light, but nothing you wanted to look at. However, a different room might have been more pleasant, if you need that.

Great wee hotel in the centre of Carlingford! Was clean, staff were so friendly and breakfast was superb! We stayed from Sunday to Monday so Carlingford was jumping! Lots of hens and stags and live music on in the village from Sunday afternoon right through to evening and this hotel was right in the middle of it all!
Nothing, all good
