The staff were wonderful. Rooms clean and spacious. Quiet. Excellent location for exploring the mourn mountains and yummy food in the pub too. Wonderful stay here with our 10 and 12 year old kids. Breakfast was great too.

Tried to hire bikes in Rostrevor, but due to kids age we were advised to travel to castlewellan as the tracks were more age appropriate there. No fault of this pub, and a lovely scenic drive to get there. can't really find any fault with the inn! It was exactly what we wanted.

The pleasant & helpful woman who checked me in. The mannerly & helpful barman. The room facilities are ideal for someone with reduced mobility. Bottled water provided. Great breakfast served by a waitress who listened & was interested in assuring you got what you asked for!

A suggestion - the shower chair needs attention. It's starting to rust & looks unsightly. The shower curtain also needs replacing - its hem edge is 'very used' looking! Online check-in is an asset, but it gives a false impression of your friendliess!!

Location very handy to Kilbroney Park. Staff very friendly. Room warm comfortable and clean.

The coffee at breakfast was void of flavour. We would have liked to be given toast, cereal & fruit after our fry but were told we could’nt. “it was either one or the other”. Every other place we have ever stayed at always offer - Fry - Toast - cereal - yogurt & fruit.

Right in the town on top of a very lively little pub. The room was lovely with a big bed and shower was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Absolutely no complaints. Only thing with this place you need to stay up and enjoy the party as it's right over the bar so going to bed early will require good ear plugs. And we got lucky with parking on street just outside, that's just luck really.

Staff exceedingly friendly. Central location convenient: Can walk right up into the mountains from the Inn as well as walk to other bars and restaurants. A real part of the community serving local whisky and gin. Cocktails made with fresh ingredients.

Accessible bedroom was cramped. No parking. Step up into bar. Noisy. Quality of food uneven.

The Rostrevor Inn was a great place to stay - the staff were all friendly and helpful, the room bright and very comfortable with the best bed we’ve slept in for ages. Food in the restaurant was tasty and good value and the music night in the pub was really fun. We’d definitely recommend a visit.

The staff was so welcoming, friendly and warm. They were so helpful and made our stay so nice. The restaurant and pub which are connected was excellent and very charming.

There was just a bit of street noise which is only because we were near the street but didn’t bother us much.

The location was perfect and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. We booked dinner that night and the staff were lovely and remembered us the next morning!

We booked a room for 4 people and it only had 3 bottles of water, 3 mugs for tea etc which was a slight oversight but nothing that we couldn't handle!

Friendly staff. Disappointed they didn’t do food on a Monday night. Did not see it. Not their fault but every where else in the town was closed for food on a Monday! But they said get a takeaway and we could eat in their bar and provided plates/knives/folks. Big plus had a folk night evening, fully booked but got us in when two people didn’t turn up.

The staff were fantastic, friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant two nights and the food and service were good. This is the second time we have stayed there and we will use it again. Very handy for hill walking.

It was noisy at closing time from the pub down below, otherwise wonderful
