I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kilmorey Arms Hotel, and it was an absolutely brilliant experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism, making my stay truly enjoyable. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their hospitality made a lasting impression. The food was outstanding, with a diverse menu offering fresh, delicious meals. Every dish was beautifully prepared, making dining at the hotel a real treat. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and wonderfully comfortable. Thoughtful amenities and a relaxing atmosphere made for a perfect stay. The location is perfect to allow for exploring locally and minutes from a lovely beach.

Absolutely amazing but the beds aren’t comfy.

Property was amazing but we had lunch it was £18 for fish and chips on paper sounded amazing but gad to keep asking for things that were missing it said purée pea but was dried mushy pea had to ask for the lemon tarter sauce and the extra chips so that was disappointing. The lads that were on were great but on their own so rushed off their feet. The chips were supposed to be triple cooked but were obviously were homemade I didn’t want to complain as my mums sister was there and hadn’t seen each other for a very long time .

The staff very nice and helpful. The food was good. Wi-Fi good.

Hotel very run down. Small things in room. No fridge. Hairs on bed. Very stuffy. Had two windows but so noisy with traffic outside constant so you couldn’t really leave them open. Floors extremely creaky. There are two options for food. Bar or restaurant. Same menu. Terrible slow service the first night in the bar for food and drink. Second night completely different. Excellent service. Shout out to Killian the restaurant manager. He was brilliant.

The Room 103 we were assigned was above the Bar, the first night, Friday was noisy but bearable, the second night, Saturday, once the music started was very,very noisy to the point we were very uncomfortable and we weren't able to sleep until after 1.00 am when the music stopped. Considering we were the only guests in the Hotel over the weekend I would assume the receptionists would be aware that the room would be noisy on nights where there is music in the Bar and could have assigned us a quieter room.

I have stayed at the Kilmorey Arms many times for work, always made welcome, remembers my name. I only eat a light breakfast so they do just what I want, suits me and no wasted food, Team are lovely they always make me feel like they are giving the personal touch. I have stayed between 1 night and a week. Food is excellent, fresh and tasty, huge portions

My only personal criticism, which is about me, the food portions are to big and I do not like wasting food, but that just me. The food is excellent quality, hot and fresh and certainly value you money. (so not really a complaint )

Check in was great, friendly and professional receptionist. Lovely spacious room. Had a late lunch, food was lovely and staff friendly. Special mention for Mario from the bar who went over and above to provide us with food long after the kitchen had closed. Excellent customer service delivered in a friendly manner - Mario is a credit to the hotel. Thank you, we will be back.

I always stay at the Kilmorey Arms when I am in Kilkeel for work, Friendly, kind, food is excellent, Greeted on arrival, rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable, having somewhere nice to stay when you are on your own away for work, is hugely important

In the winter the heating system needs to come on earlier, as I am up and getting ready to go to work

The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious evening meals. The hotel's restaurant served some truly delectable dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I was thoroughly impressed and looked forward to dinner each night. Although the Kilmorey Hotel offers a standard breakfast, I found it to be satisfying and sufficient to start my day. The breakfast options were decent, but nothing particularly extraordinary. It provided the necessary fuel for the day ahead, but it didn't exceed my expectations in terms of variety or quality. One aspect that you should be aware of is that the rooms at the Kilmorey Hotel are not very modern. They have more of an old-fashioned aesthetic, which may not appeal to those who prefer contemporary accommodations. However, despite their outdated appearance, the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant space to unwind after a long day. Overall, while the Kilmorey Hotel may not offer the most modern rooms, it certainly makes up for it with excellent cleanliness, a friendly and attentive staff, delicious evening meals, and a decent breakfast. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay, I would recommend considering the Kilmorey Hotel.

This is a gem of a hotel in the centre of Kilkeel! Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were all more than “a wee bit” friendly and very helpful, the retaurant was exceptional for the evening meal with wonderful service and an outstanding and creative menu. Likewise the breakfast.

Just to be aware that there is loud music until 1 am. However, we emailed ahead of time to request a room away from the bar, which the helpful staff accommodated us with, without issue.
