ive rented room with balcony, in fairness theres no view from balconies at all but its useful for smokers. room was clean and tidy. i heard staff complaining on shifts not being covered and because of that there was no room service available. wine that costs $9 in tesco cost around 35 quid in hotel, however overall experience is very good and all staff is very friendly and happy to help. i'd say that this hotel is safe option, whatever goes wrong you wont be dissapointed. i loved room design and the carpet :D

Fabulous stay!! A beautiful property. Our room was huge, it was so lovely to be able to rest, spread out and open our bags easily. We loved having a bath and enjoyed the space and decor of the room. The resort itself is away from the town, costing us about 15 Euros in a taxi to get into town and then another 15 Euros to come back. We decided after that to stay in the hotel and use the facilities there. We were very surprised with the prices of beer and wine in the hotel, which were pretty similar to the pubs. We enjoyed a few evenings in the bar and ate the soup and chicken wings - which were great. Breakfast was amazing too! The staff were so lovely, Paula in the bar, Jacqueline and Emily in the restaurant, as well as Tommy and Natalia. Everyone was so very friendly and we had a lot of fun while we were there. We had just finished a 3 week drive around Ireland and Northern Ireland, and were looking for somewhere to fill in 3 nights before heading back to Dublin. Very good value for money - with lovely walking opportunities as well as the chance for a steam, spa and swim in the resort.

Loved the location and beautiful grounds.

Unfortunately our room had no hot water from 5pm to 7.20pm which was very disappointing as we had booked a room with a bath especially.. when we eventually got hot water it was a rush to get washed and down for dinner. Staff member Kaill was very good about it and explained it was due to high demand in the swimming pool and kindly gave us a free drink from the bar. Also we would have liked a courtesy email maybe a week before to ask us if we would like to book the restaurant for dinner .. ?? it was very busy and we nearly didn’t get a booking !

What's not to like, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the facilities are super, the swimming pool is a nice temperature and not too heavily chlorinated, the sauna is spacious and heavenly after a swim, steam room also lovely. The jacuzzi is great but more chlorinated but so good. The outdoor hot tub is bliss. As regards the hotel itself, the bedroom we had was lovely, the bed was Soo comfy and we had proper mugs for tea and coffee instead of the standard cream cups and saucers. The bar food was delicious, generous portions and value for money and the hotel itself was so lovely. There's a lovely walked garden to walk around and a 10 minute walk takes you out to the Proleek Dolmen. Worth seeing..for golf lovers there's an 18 hole golf course and overall a wonderful wonderful venue. Must give Luke a mention, once you get past his shy exterior he is a lovely lovely lad. A great asset to the staff. He can't do enough for you and he's such a gentle lovely person..

Very little not to like. The chips were rather greasy, my friend was given a cup with lipstick on it which my partner spotted as it was put down and it was taken away and a fresh cup brought out but no apology. Small this in a bigger picture.

It's a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting, a wonderful place for a wedding. The bedroom was fab and the bed so comfy. We were there for a wedding. There was one of your staff that stood out to me, (I hate using this expression ) but she was an older lady, very friendly went out of her way with the children that were there. She had a smile on her face all the time even at breakfast the next morning.

The receptionist was anything but welcoming unfortunately, the bar staff looked liked he would rather be anywhere else but he was there from the start of the wedding till the residents bar and let us know that too. Thank god for the band and dj that lifted the evening.

The food was excellent, staff where excellent and a pleasure to deal with. Room was spotless all very good.

I paid for a double room with balcony. The balcony was disappointing and dangerous, basically it was a ledge with two chairs which didn't fit. The step up to the balcony in the room was quite steep with sharp edges and splashed with paint. To get onto the balcony required stepping over the door frame and down another step. This certainly would be a safety issue and would not be relaxing to sit on as you had to sit sideways not looking out on the view. Selling this as a room with a balcony is misinformation and not worth paying extra for.

The hotel is in lovely surroundings. For those interested, there is a golf course and tennis courts. The pool is excellent, as is the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, too. The breakfast was brilliant. There was a great selection & everything tasted delicious. The staff, from check-in to bar staff and leisure area, were very pleasant and helpful. The kids were very pleased with this hotel as it's a kid friendly hotel. Great location for exploring this beautiful area.

There's not much to not like. Are the car spaces made for smaller cars, or do people not park correctly ? Hotel bar prices, as per usual are too high and no difference here.

I booked this with my 11+12 year old daughters. It exceeded expectations. The room was big, beds were super comfy too. The swimming pool was fantastic. I enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, steam room, ice bath and outside jacuzzi , while the girls played in the pool. The staff are very helpful and Friendly too. The breakfast was stunning too.

There really isn't much to fault. The only gripe was the price of food in the restaurant. We ended up going to the local chipshop. There wasn't a family friendly budget... it's a very small complaint...

Hotel and grounds were stunning, restaurant food was fantastic as was breakfast, the staff in these areas were fantastic and so pleasant.

Check in was awful, the receptionist kept us waiting for 30mins, whilst someone was to check the rooms, no words of welcome , have you stayed before or any such pleasantries were given. Same upon checkout same person didn’t ask if everything was ok did we enjoy absolutely not a word. I don’t think front desk in a place like this is for her.
