The hotel is in a beautiful old house, but inside it is modern and very pleasant. Great location just off the high street and downtown. Our room was large and cozy with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was standard - scrambled eggs, sausages, hams, cheeses, vegetables, pastries, fruit, yogurts. Very nice and helpful staff. We forgot our phone charger and the receptionist was ready and equipped with chargers for every type of phone. We definitely recommend the hotel.

The only thing I could complain about is the slightly noisy door to the rooms. They cannot be closed quietly, which you will notice especially at night and in the morning. But this is a complete trifle.

Modern hotel very close to major attractions. Big room, clean and comfy, helpful staff, good breakfast - highly recommended if you want to visit Speyer for a quick city break or just a travel stop, as we did.

Room was uncomfortably warm (it was not major heatwave, just a regular summer day), but we couldn't really open the windows, because they overlook the courtyard and people were sitting there late into the evening and SMOKING.

Very nice old Villa in the city center, located in a quite side road. Very well renovated and nicely equipped. Big rooms and excellent breakfast buffet. Ideal to relax and explore the old city of Speyer (walking distance) as well as nearby locations at the southern German wine street

the Residenz is centrally located , it is a quiet comfortable hotel , our room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet they offer is charming , typical generous german country fare with local specialities set in the ancient vaulted cellar. your receptionist in the morning should treat her tooth ache and learn to read the room numbers on the cards ,

I'm so pleased that I chose this hotel. It's in a lovely location close to all the attractions. My room was quiet and peaceful, all staff are friendly and polite, the breakfast selection was wonderful. I'm perfectly happy with my stay.

The Breakfast was very good, diverse and always fresh. The Waitress is very nice and brings you everything and quick, The reception lady is also helpful what ever you asked her.

The cleaning lady needed a little help to see what to do.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spa with two saunas, generously built shower and room for relaxation. Excellent location, only a short walk away from the tourist attractions/restaurants and yet very silent.

The breakfast was very good, and the environment was welcoming.

Upon entering my room it was cold, although it was quickly remedied.
