Stayed at Nikolakakis Rooms Laviro for 1 night before taking ferry to Kythnos. The hotel is very central in the town, few minutes from the marina and 10 minute walk to the ferries. The staff where very friendly and helpful and I had no problem checking in very late as my flight was delayed into Athens. The room was larger and more spacious than expected, beautiful large balcony and adequate bathroom. Only problem was the noise from a nearby bar that went on until early hours of the morning but the hotel can't do anything about this. Lovely selection for breakfast as well, plenty to keep you going for the day, overall very enjoyable stay at Nikolakakis Rooms Laviro

Communication with the hotel was very good. They responded quickly and nicely. Everything went very smoothly, and we enjoyed our stay. There was a large balcony and air conditioning in every room.

The beds were a bit too hard for many of us, but they were fine for one night. There was no shower head holder on the wall, so we had to hold it by hand the entire time. Adding a shower holder would improve the experience. However, these are just small issues — overall, we liked everything!

Its the only hotel in Lavrio, which I find odd because it is a fair-sized town and quite pleasant to chill out in. The rooms are clean and comfortable and mine had a small kitchenette and a balcony overlooking a small park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a convenient self-service laundromat right next door, and plenty of cafes and restaurants in close proximity. The inter-city bus stop is right opposite, and the ferry port about a 10 minute walk away. There is also a very interesting archeological museum within walking distance.

I booked this hotel for my parents that were getting a cruise the next day. I was concerned as they don't speak English (or Greek :-D ) and they are in the elderly side of age so in case they needed something, it may have been difficult for them to communicate. The staff in the hotel was brilliant helping them and sorted out all possible needs. Thanks a lot :-D And yeah, the hotel is really nice too :-), with a great location for the purpose of heading to the pier the next day.

Large well-lit room. Microwave and sink. Table and armchairs. Large balcony (see photo of view from balcony). Good breakfast.

First 10 steps or so from the street to the reception are difficult when carrying heavy luggage, and there is no way to avoid the steps. En-suite bathroom door did not shut.

We needed a reasonably priced room in lavrion so we could go on a cruise the next morning. It was much easier to stay in lavrion then take a cab from Athens in the morning.The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. There were nice places to eat just a block away and the port was a lot of fun to walk around at night. The room was everything we needed including air conditioning and comfortable beds. The hotel provided a wonderful breakfast. It's a very short walk from the hotel to the cruise terminal. We were very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend it if you're going to take a cruise.

Spiros was so helpful and fun to help. He helped with letting us drop our bags prior to room being ready, which was great. Central location walking distance to all of areas lovely tavernas and marina. Huge room with fridge, kettle and microwave, balcony and ensuite. A/c was welcomed. Slightly noisy of evening from music from authentic greek restaurants, but nothing too complain about.

breakfast was included, but would rate poor, sweet bread, fruit in syrup, yellow cheese slices! Fresh fruit and proper cheese would of been better received.

The rooms were great, breakfast was also very nice, the location was exactly what I needed for our business trip BUT MOST OF ALL, Makis is an excellent host and I really appreciate his hospitality we had amazing communication and he anticipated our needs.Thank you Makis!

Location and price. We used it as a group for a an overnight stay before heading to Olympic marina by taxi to get to our sailing boat. Sits central and while not cheap, affordable compared to other accomodations in lavrion. Not much luxury but practical.

Very simple accomodations only recommended for overnight stays. Breakfast closes super early. Shower cabin is very small and uses a boiler you have to activate with lead time before using it.

The bed guard on the top bunk bed could be lifted off leaving quite a long fall to a hard floor. As my son is only five and was sleeping up there I tied it on with some string as a quick fix. It also only reached half way down the bed leaving quite a large gap without a side. If we had been staying longer I might have put the mattress on the floor for safety but as we were just there for one night I put a big bag in the way so he couldn't wriggle around in his sleep and fall out. (not a complaint, just a comment). Top bunk possibly not suitable for younger children.
