This pub is a hidden gem! Only 20 minutes by train out of Roma Street and you are back in colonial Queensland history...and the bar manager only too happy to show you archived newspaper clippings of the pub's colourful past history! The patrons even included me in a shout!! Beautiful old Queensland hotel built in pre-Federation colonial times, wreaks of history, old Queensland charm and the staff are a total eye-opener in friendliness and efficiency....only pub I have been in for a lot of years where the chef will actually come out of the kitchen and hand you your meal in the bar! Just a totally relaxing and enjoyable experience - room was big, comfortable and relaxing!

There is nothing bad to report about this pub! It is a totally unique experience that a lot of other so-called Queensland country pubs should look at as the benchmark in sincere and genuine Queensland rural pub experience!.....nothing!...I mean NOTHING!!...was too hard for the publican and his team to sort out for you....a rare gem that Brisbane people should look at as an affordable and close getaway for a few days...and you don't need to leave the pub to enjoy the experience!!!

Location was close to everything we needed. Room was comfy. Staff were very friendly. Meals were excellent would highly recommend dinning here for any reason. The hotel had a great feel to it, very friendly and inviting. Manager had great knowledge of the history attached to the building. The locals made us feel welcome as well.

Great little pub. Room was neat and tidy, bed was awesome. Shower and toilet great,especially the hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was ok, my steak was a bit chewy. Would stay again.

Staff was amazing from what I hurd my girlfriend who stayed solo was looked after really well I appreciate the staff who looked out for her

Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms and facilities. Off street parking. Fantastic value for money meals.

Has air-conditioning and fans however was unable to find any heating for room. But pretty sure if I asked I could have gotten something. Not that we really needed it

Great stay in old Redbank. Only thing missing was air-conditioning. 32 degrees The fan Only moved the hot air around.
