I was very pleases with my stay at Hotel Johnson. The location was excellent-walking distance to the train station, walking distance to the town centre attractions and a very nice walk along lake Garda. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It was more like a family team. Someone here mentioned having problem with staff not speaking english was an utter nonsense I had no problem communicating with them with my basic Italy (Buongeorno and Grazie😜) and staffs available who speak english. The room was clean and ensuite bathroom was nice with good shower power. The hotel restaurant food was really nice too.

It is not what I didn’t like but I didn’t bother. I couldn’t get the AC to work. But it wasn’t very hot so I didn’t bother to ask around. Also the room comes with small patio at the back. During the day is fine but at night it is dark and when you are travelling solo not safe to keep the door open. If there were spotlights or even the garden lights you can get with solar power would have been nicer. But I really enjoyed my stay, thank you to all the Hotel Johnson staff team 🙏

The hotel is perfect for travelers especially with Motorcycle, you can park your bike or car just outside the hotel, the girl in reception told me to store the bike next to my room which was perfect. roor clean, a good size with free Aircon. The hotel bar is open 24/7.

Something to be aware of that the hotel has a restaurant when u check in you get told you get 10% discount you just need to turn up as you are a guest of the hotel. Ha Ha when I turned up I asked for a table for one I was told they are full and the lady in the restaurant was a bit rude about it. so for that reason I will only give the hotel an 8 which is a shame .

The location was excellent - just outside the old walled town and an easy walk to the railway station. The room was fine - decor a little tired but clean and everything worked, and the shower was very good. It was a peaceful stay and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was nice and there was a fun bar/restaurant in the evening with a discount for hotel guests, though I didn't try it.

Decor a little tired, rather dim lighting in the room, and a hard bed. But these are minor problems, the location made up for it.

This is a lovely typically Italian hotel. The room was a good size. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom had a good toilet, bidet and sink with a small, but effective shower. The air conditioning worked really well and even at night on a low/quiet setting it was effective. There were slatted shutters on the windows to keep the room cool and also dark at night. There was a small balcony but it was too hot to use it! The hotel’s restaurant provided a simple, but lovely breakfast (pastries, yoghurt, fruit, plus rolls, cheese, ham and eggs). We used the hotel restaurant several evenings as the food was excellent. All the hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. We walked to the hotel from the railway station when we arrived and caught a bus nearby to the airport for our return

I did get bitten, but never actually saw or heard a mosquito, as it was very hot the bites were irritating.

I was very satisfied - the room was clean and had all I needed, and the hotel is in a great location between the historic center and the train station, just a short walk from each. There are certainly lots of places in Peschiera that offer a higher standard, but they're way more expensive. As a fairly priced option that you don't need a car for, I think the Hotel Johnson cannot be beaten.

Nothing to complain about considering the value you get for the money you spend. Maybe that I'm not a fan of mandatory 10 am check-outs. I see they also let you check in quite early though, so it's just a pretty early overall routine for a hotel.

I like the Location of this Hotel. It is near all the beautiful places to visit. The staff was not really good at the English language but did all the best to communicate with us and for us to understand what they wanted to say. The room was spacious. There is a little window that is in front of the lakes which we found cute. The Restaurant at the Hotel served tasty Italian food.

I have no negative comments against this Hotel.

The hotel is in a wonderful position in the centre of everything. 10 minutes to the station 5 minutes to the lake 5 minutes to town. The breakfast could be improved on but still not a problem. The staff have been really helpful . The attached restaurant is very good and not overly expensive

As they are not far from the Swiss border maybe they can add muesli to the breakfast cereal.

The room was nice with good facilities. We had a small balcony overlooking the outdoor seating of the attached restaurant; it was more than adequate for sharing some wine and enjoying the breeze. Italy was blazing hot while we were there; the A/C in the room was up to the job of keeping the room comfortable. The walk from the train station was some 15 hot minutes. When we left, we arranged with the front desk for a taxi (10 euro) to take us back to the station. There is no lift, we had two sets of perhaps 6 steps each, with a landing in between, to get to our room. Breakfast was serve -yourself in the attached restaurant. The restaurant, itself, is pretty good with generous servings! The staff were pleasant and helpful. The old town is a 10 minute walk. The town was packed with locals and with Italian tourists who were enjoying the first several days of September (and the end of summer). The bus to Simione is by the harbor in the old town. Verona is a short train ride away.

Not a big deal, but knowledge of some basic Italian and a bit patience with the English of some of the staff helped. Again, the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location is excellent, just outside the really busy old town. It was a relief to come back to some space and quiet. The restaurant was excellent - so nice to sit out in the garden for breakfast and dinner - and the food was good and well priced, especially with the resident's discount.

The location is great, i Traveled by train so its also very close to the Train Station. The Trains in Italy runs always on time. So was ist easy to travel to Verona. The round trip cost only 7.90 Euro.
