I booked a week or so before my trip and the price point at the time of booking was good for Iceland and the level of accomodation. The check in/door code process trouble free. Room was clean and functional. Could have done with more hangers but not a big deal. Glad to have a fridge to keep snacks and other supplies. there was some coffee sachets but I didn't rely on them and brought my own. A way to better wash bowl/plate/cultery would be good, but didn't bother me particulary. Tv/steaming apps functionality was a little hit and miss, but wasn't there to watch tv! just used it when getting ready etc I didn't need any help from staff i saw in person, but any questions i had over messaging were dealt with promptly and effiecently. Overall it was quiet while I was there. You can't fault the location. It's a small town anyway, but easy walk to the main street and to bus drop off/pick up for airport as well as the main bus terminal for the free local buses. I'm not sure where you'd control heating if it was very cold but i didn't have any issues with being cold, happy to have a window to ventilate room. Would happily stay again if/when I return and recommend to others! Thank you for being part of a great stay in Akureryi.

Only real downside was there was no where to store luggage when arriving before check in. As I did not have a car I had no where to put it and facilities to store do not exist elsewhere in the town. Not an absolute deal breaker, but something to note to be aware of. Luckily weather was delightful to be outside in the mean time.

Central location, the busy walking street is of walking distance. Check-in was really smooth with the keycodes. Our room on the ground floor was also very big.

Cleanliness was a big issue. Our bedsheets were stained with weird marks and the kitchen utensils are not very clean (probably from inconsiderate guests previously). Parking was also difficult to access (long distance between hotel front door and the private carpark) if you are carrying a lot of luggage.

The location was central, the room was comfortable and I did like that there was parking on site

The woman who answered the phone had AWFUL customer service. When my partner called asking for a landmark she refused to help. He hung up the phone, we still couldn't figure it out. Then I called again and she picked up the phone and did not say a word but instead redirected me to a Gentleman (Michael) who was GREAT. He was honestly the only reason we found the space, he offered many landmarks and assisted us in finding the parking lot. I did see some stains on the sheets as well but was too afraid to call front desk again. I would be quite hesitant booking this space again and its unfortunate because it was the one woman who made it a bad experience. Hopefully Michael is the one who picks up the phone for anyone in need

The room sloped ceiling was quite low and I am only 5ft! No window to open Fridge in room was great but quite noisy. Sink taps too short to fill kettle Shower sprayed onto bathroom floor - no bathmat privided Lots of snow during our stay - the parking is not near the apartments and wasnt ploughed so nearly got the car stuck.

The location is great for a stop-over in Akureyri. Within minutes you are in the city center of one of the few large(ish) cities of Iceland. The apartment is very easy to access with an access code provided to you beforehand. Further, it contains everything you'd expect from an apartment.

The parking arrangement is a bit weird. You are supposed to park on the gravel behind the Building. This may not be so clear from the instructions provided to you. I can also imagine you may not feel comfortable leaving your car in such a spot as it has that back alley feel to it.

Wonderful large room with kitchen facilities and utensils. Nice shower, excellent lighting and comfortable bed. Everything had been thought of and all to a very hight standard. Entry instructions were easy to follow even for me.

One problem was the fridge hum. I think it vibrates against the kitchen units and creates such a deep penetrating sound that I had to turn the fridge off when I went to bed. In other areas of the room it was hardly noticeable but near the bed it was intense.

Good location with parking. No frills, it had what we needed, shower, comfy beds and clean. There was tv with Netflix and fridge/kettle too. Would use again.

Nothing to not like. There was condensation damage to window sill which needs to be looked at - this will happen as most people keep windows closed and unventilated.

We liked the location and the room itselt. Decent size bathroom.

Our room was on the first floor in the hall area. All coming in people opened the door using electronic keabord. We could hear every sound of this lock and rolling suitcases in the hall as wel as slaming door. Even at night time.

Loved the private room & private bathroom. Free parking is available around the back & just follow the pavers to the front. Self check in & out was very simple & straightforward. Wonderful location, 3 min walk to restaurants & shopping. Beautiful view from my room on the second floor.

Great location and accesability. Staff always available through a phone call and always available to help. Clean and comfortable.

There was an issue with the check in. There was a guest in my assigned room when I entered it. Staff resolved the issue immediately.
