We chose this hotel because of its location next to the venue of an event that we wanted to attend. Checking in and out was easy. Staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There were many restaurants and bars in the area, yet it was quiet at night. The hotel had a restaurant and bar of its own. We appreciated having a small bite in the evening that didn’t break the bank. In the morning there was an amazing selection of breakfast foods to chose from. We loved the pool and hot tub.

I loved everything about it I loved the breakfast even though you had to pay for it. It was a phenomenal.

I was asking if they had any spare bags. Cuz I left them in the truck. Cuz I had some dogs with me. Cuz I can't go anywhere without them. And the girl was kind of rude about it. She's like we're not normally a dog hotel. So I can't help you. And I'm just kind of like.... Okay well I'll go get my valet card and have them bring my truck around I guess. Like I get that you're not a dog Hotel. But like you still accept dogs. So, you could have gotten me a couple of your ice cube bags and that would have been amazing. I ended up asking a really nice housekeeping lady for a couple extra ice bags. And she gave me like three so. Also the little mini fridge that they had wasn't big enough to even put like a to-go box in

It was a great location, within walking distance to the Red Hat Amphitheater and close to a really neat sky-top bar. It was very clean and the woman at the front desk was very kind when we checked in and then again later when I asked a question. Elevators were clean and within working order and the room was clean and spacious.

I disliked the parking garage because it was slightly confusing and you still had to pay.

The hotel is located in downtown Raleigh close to many businesses and restaurants, entertainment, etc… The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Mine had a walk-in shower, which I had requested. The bed was among the most comfortable I have seen in recent years.

The WiFi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members, but you wouldn’t necessarily know it from the way the internet portal displays the information, as it seems that you have to pay, even for basic internet access. I needed to go and see a receptionist to ask about it in order to figure out that I was not going to be charged for internet…. (And the lady who clarified this for me could not have been nicer!) The hotel is quite large and there was a big corporate group visiting while I was there; it created quite a noisy environment in the common areas. It ended up not bothering me too much (except when the elevators were mobbed by members of the group!), but let’s say that it isn’t great for people who prefer a quiet environment.

Great breakfast and staff was great !! I paid for parking total of 46.00 dollars in and out, had to or couldn't get out of the garage!! I think you charged me $30 for two day parking already.I believe you owe me a refund on the amount I paid vs. room rate difference and the parking. You have my info for refund. Parking is a nightmare, you precharged me, but you had to pay the machine to get out of the garage, what's with that. Held everyone up everytime !!

My daughter and I come to Raliegh for a concert at the Lincoln Theater. It took us less then 5 minutes to walk there and the neighborhood was very nice. As the girls I was not scared to walk to and from the concert. If we have to go back that way again I would prefer to stay there. Excellent choice. Well worth the money spent. Starbucks was a nice touch to our morning home the next day!

The Mariott is conveniently located in the downtown area of Raleigh and in walking distance of the downtown attractions like the Museum of Natural History and located to the convention centre next door.

As with many American hotels the airconditioning is way to loud and poorly controllable. A chain like MAriott shoudl pay much more attention to this. There is no handshower (spa shower), nor a separate shower avoiding to climb in bathtubs, no one is using anyway.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great variety of choices. Staff were kind and accommodating. Valet team was on top of requests and retrieved the car speedily.

Recommend there be two valet attendants on duty at all times. On the day of departure (a holiday) the valet attendant was working alone. In spite of his working alone, he did an excellent job of retrieving vehicles.

The staff and facilities were top notch!! Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly and so nice. Most definitely will be back!!

The valet Josh needs a lesson in customer service. We just survived a hurricane and he very much judged us almost for having a broken windshield from a tree falling on our vehicle 2 days prior. I had to to get my own car…

The location and our favorite was the Sono Sushi Restaurant. Also the breakfast buffet was good. Some of the items at the buffet could have been warmer (i.e., eggs, bacon, etc).

What I did not like was the amount of homelessness on the streets and shady behaviors. Note, this was not seen at or around the hotel.
