Location was excllent! Breakfast was excellent! (Happy hour too!!) Grounds were very homey, comfortable....like being at someone's home. Love the "log cabin feeling...." Reception area was lovely....lots of wood, stone. Very cozy. Plenty of coffee, water, and ice. 2 minute walk to historic main street; 2 minute walk to river. 5 minute drive to Ouray Hot Springs. Plenty to see and do in this little hidden gem of Colorado...."Little Switzerland of America" Hanging flower baskets were spectacular! Ed and Julia (new Innkeepers) are the best! Owners are very lucky to have them.....

Needs a bit of updating....paint was peeling, old carpet on stairs and landing areas; need new, updated outdoor custions. Grass could use some TLC....

We loved staying here!! It was easy to get to, the building itself is so cute and welcoming. Our room was cute, clean, comfortable and inviting. We stayed in room 201 and got to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. I can’t remember her name, but we loved the woman working at the front desk. She was very sweet and friendly and her sense of humor was wonderful. She also offered us fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. We didn’t have breakfast but they did let us know about the breakfast option which i thought was super cool. We loved staying here and definitely will be coming back next time we come to visit.

We loved how close it is to town and the mountains surrounding the property are beautiful. It is off Main Street two blocks so very quiet. The breakfast place is like home and they even have board games. The breakfast is homemade as well as the cookies in the afternoon with wine. The staff are delightful and accommodating. We felt right at home and our room was clean with more than enough pillows and towels. Charles and his wife Mary make it feel like home. We will definitely go back as we love Ouray for climbing and hiking and the pure beauty and friendliness of the place.

Loved our stay here. The woman at reception was super friendly and welcoming. We had some great chats throughout our stay. When we arrived, we had booked a room that you needed to entire via the back alley. But because of how muddy it it was back there and the recent bear activity she moved our room, free of charge, to the second floor. Complementary wine and homemade cookies were great. Lots of fun playing board games and having a drink while it snowed. Room was comfortable and very clean. Also very close to the Main Street.

The breakfast was fantastic both mornings and the location was probably the best in all Ouray. A happy hour with cookies and wine is provided every day from 4 To 6. The property has outside seating in a small park like area and there are benches just outside the room. The managers were friendly and when asked about providing a cot, they immediately responded by providing an inflatable mattress. The location is convenient to everything within walking distance. We visited the Hot Springs a few times both days and local restaurants and shops are all right there.

The manager’s Ed and Julie are fabulous! They make breakfast every morning. Egg and sausage muffins, ham and egg casserole, eggs and sausage, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and great coffee.Ed makes muffins, they were excellent.

The location was great just off Main Street but within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean. Cleaning staff was great and friendly.

Complimentary breakfast was very good, menu changed every day. Happy hour wine and cookies was very cute, coffee available. Rooms very clean and very well equipped kitchenette. Bathroom large and clean. Outdoor seating areas very nice and sunny. Wifi was mostly v good. Location v good, v central. Staff lovely.

Our room with 2x double bed was at times a little small for 3 people.

Very friendly owners, Happy Hour chat, like-minded outdoor adventurer visitors, i.e. parking lot full of mud-spattered jeeps and trucks. I plan to come back next year!

The heating/cooling in the room is hard to gage. Stronger lighting would have been helpful. I love the reading chair, but a little more wattage would be appreciated.

The location was just a block off the main street, so walking distance to everything. It was small so not many people which was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were decent for the price and size of establishment. We would definitely stay here again.

The people staying in the room next to us were loud and disruptive. They would show up to their room every night between 12:30am-1:00am they made so much noise that sounded like bumping into the wall and repetitively opened and closed their front door. They talked so loud we could hear them like we were sitting in the room with them. They wouldn’t get quiet till about 3:00am so that was super annoying and didn’t help that it was a foreign language, but that’s our only major complaint.

I stayed a week in February and the wifi speed was great for working remotely. The location was super convenient to get to the restaurants, bars, grocery store, liquor store, and main ice climbing companies in town. The staff was really helpful with any small things that I needed.

The mini-fridge was slightly too cold and didn't have any knob to adjust the temperature. My tub of hummus and cans of sparkling water came out icy but luckily my beer was fine.
